The intersection of neuropsychology and faith: finding hope and breaking anxiety's grip

The intersection of neuropsychology and faith: finding hope and breaking anxiety's grip

I have to confess I when I first started this podcast I never even occurred to me to do a season on mental health. I don't know why because we all know, or I think most of us know, that our health is not necessarily our only body, but it’s our physical, spiritual, emotional, and our mental Health. It all goes together to create our whole being and what we are able to do with our body through that.

My guest today, Dr. Michelle Bengtson, and I talk a lot about her own personal journey. She really speaks to those who have walked, or are walking, through depression and anxiety. I love her holistic approach to healing. Not only does she approach it from a clinical perspective but she really emphasizes the spiritual aspect of it. You'll hear in her story that that was really the key for her.
