Lessons learned from adulting from young professional journalist, Chelsea Haynes

This episode is for all you mamas who have recently launched or are getting ready to launch your kiddos into the world. Today Chelsea Haynes joins to share her experience of adulting. Chelsea is currently a lifestyle storyteller at WATE in Knoxville, Tennessee and as you will hear, is engaging, effervescent, and encouraging. She is truly delightful and I can’t wait for you to hear about her professional, spiritual and health journey. You’ll get to hear what was challenging, what she nailed, and the impact her parents had on her journey.

We discuss:

  • The food and cooking transition from college to living on her own
  • How she manages her gut health issues
  • Her broadened approach to health
  • What it’s like to be in front of the camera every day
  • What it was like to experience the racial injustice reports as a Black journalist
  • The process of finding a church home as a young adult and the importance of being willing to step out of your comfort zone
