August was about the first impression your site makes: a big batch of new designs and better-looking emails to your listeners. Here's the rundown.
New Features
Nine new looks for your site

We've rolled out some massively upgraded design templates — free, and available on every plan.
Every one was designed and refined specifically for podcast sites, not adapted from a generic template. Casefile and Gameday lean bold and image-forward; Editorial and Swiss are clean and text-first; Lounge is built for shows that want to lead with words over artwork.
Switch anytime from Design → Change Site Template — you get a live preview of your own episodes and colors in each one before you commit.

A better-looking episode alert email
If you email subscribers when a new episode goes live, that email just got a real design pass — clearer hierarchy, a proper title, one obvious way to listen.
We also merged the scattered notification toggles into one switch — new episodes, reviews, voicemails, contact messages, and more all follow a single "Email notifications" toggle under Notifications now. If you'd already turned any of these off, that choice carried over, so nothing changes for you unless you go looking.

Improvements
- Custom code on any page, not just Custom Pages. About, Episodes, Contact — every page in your Page Editor now has the same Custom Code section for your own CSS and JavaScript that Custom Pages already had.
- Hide the header on a custom page. Building something that should feel like its own landing page rather than part of your site? You can now turn off the header entirely for that one page.
- If you use blog categories: they now show up in your navigation dropdown, above your blog list, and in your sitemap, so Google and your readers can actually find them.
- Episode category pages play episodes now, instead of just listing them — one less click for anyone browsing by topic.
- Listen links are consistent everywhere now. The platforms you've marked as featured show first on every page — home, episodes, sidebar, mobile — and everything else is one tap away in a new All Players menu.
That's August. We're hard at work for more improvements for September.
