Two ways it works

Podpage fits how you already work with clients

Every agency works with clients differently. Podpage supports both models -- and you can mix and match across your client roster.

Option 1

You own it, you bill it

You create and pay for each client's website under your own Podpage account. You control the design, the domain, and the invoice. Charge your client whatever fits your service package -- Podpage's subscription cost is between you and your books.

  • Every client site lives in your account -- log in once and see them all in your dashboard sidebar
  • You choose the plan per site and pay Podpage directly
  • Bill your client a flat fee, a markup, or bundle it into a larger retainer -- it's your relationship
  • Full control of design, domain, and content unless you hand editing access to the client
Option 2

They own it, you just log in

Your client creates and pays for their own Podpage account, then invites you as a Website User. You get full edit access to build and manage the site without ever touching a bill.

  • Client owns the account, the domain, and the subscription
  • They invite you by email -- no separate login to remember, no extra cost to you
  • You get full edit access to design, pages, and settings
  • Access to every client who's added you shows up in one login -- revoked instantly if the relationship ends

Frequently asked questions

Everything agencies ask about managing client websites on Podpage.

Can I manage websites for multiple clients from one Podpage login?

Yes. Whether you own each client's site under your own account or you've been added as a Website User on sites your clients own, everything you have access to appears in your dashboard sidebar when you log in -- one login for every client.

Do my clients need their own custom domain?

Yes, and each one is independent. Every client site can run on its own custom domain (e.g. podcast.theirbrand.com) with its own logo, colors, and branding -- whether you're paying for it or they are.

How does billing work if I'm managing sites for clients?

It's up to you. If you own the site under your account, you pay Podpage directly and can charge your client whatever fits your service agreement -- a flat fee, a markup, or part of a retainer. If your client owns the account instead, they pay Podpage directly and you're added for free as a Website User.

What happens if a client relationship ends?

If you own the site, you keep it and can hand off billing or design however you agree with the outgoing client. If your client owns the account and added you as a Website User, they simply remove your access -- takes seconds, no migration required.

Is this different from a Podpage podcast network?

Yes. A network page is for shows that share one brand and one domain, with each show living as a sub-page (see our Podcast Networks page). This setup is for agencies managing separate, independently branded client websites -- each with its own domain and identity.

Can I give my client full control later if they want to bring it in-house?

Yes. You can add your client as a Website User with full edit access at any time, or work with our support team to move billing to their own account when they're ready to take it over.
