And that voice

Erica is a great story teller and to be a great story teller you've got to tell the whole story. It's like she's reading us a short essay/book/story. Beginning, middle, end. I love her podcast and look forward to hearing that "just like butta" voice. She always shows compassion for the victims and distain for the perps. Love her ❤️

Absolutely great!

I love this show! The research that Erica does for her episodes is amazing. Her presentation is very informative and professional. I enjoy when a new one comes out and I learn something new every time. Definitely one of the most enjoyable true crime shows out there!

Wonderful storyteller!

I consume podcasts all day every day, and Southern Fried True Crime is at the top for me. Every time I see a new episode, I drop whatever else I’m listening to and immediately start it! She’s a smart, balanced, modern southern woman and represents us well 💪🏼!

True crime at its best!

I’ve listen to so many true crime podcasts and Erica is, without a doubt, the best. She brings so many details and does excellent research. She goes beyond just the crime by giving vivid local details, and delves into the personal history of those involved and digs into the “why” behind the crime. Even if I’ve heard several podcasts on a specific crime, I will listen if Erica covers that crime because she always brings such a fresh take.

IMHO

SFTC is very well researched and carefully presented. The content is taken seriously. Erica’s voice is smooth and calming while presenting the sometimes disturbing content. Outstanding podcast and my personal favorite!

My fav podcast

Literally one of my fav podcasts ever . Erica tells each story so wonderfully. She doesn’t do a bunch of chit chat at the beginning she gets right into things which for me I prefer .

High praise for this

This is by far my most favorite true crime podcast. Erica’s voice is like warm butter on a biscuit. It glides through the story told in great detail and with reverence for the subject. There’s no juvenile banter or jokes made. It’s just the pure story from beginning to end (if possible). SFTC is the only podcast I recommend.

The best!!

This is my favorite true crime podcast hands down. Erica and Haley do a fantastic job. I can't wait for Sunday's when the new episode is released. I highly recommend this show to anyone who loves True Crime.

Amazing!!

For starters what a beautiful and smooth voice you have when speaking. Secondly you give the victims a voice, your opinions are honest and not biased. The podcast has been my top three favorites for the last year. Please don’t ever quite!! And I hope you’re recovering well from surgery.

Top Shelf True Crime Pocast

Within a genre that’s absolutely saturated this podcast is one of the few I consider truly top tier. The research is meticulous and the storytelling masterful, respectful, and compassionate. Erica’s no nonsense personality and a voice that’s as smooth as melted butter makes this podcast dazzle. There’s absolutely not a single thing I can fault, which is why it sits up high in my personal list of top five true crime podcasts.

Erika is the real deal…

Her slow Southern drawl sounds like home to me. She tells stories that hold deeper meaning to me because I understand all of the cultural nuances hidden within. She chooses stories from all types of people and dives deep to explain that which is impossible to comprehend.

My favorite

I discovered smthis podcast mid pandemic and I look forward to each new episode. Erica is hilarious and has one of those voices that make you think your sitting with a friend. This podcast does a fabulous job a highlighting cases you e never heard of as well as well known cases. Keep doing what you do!!

Honest, lively, heartfelt!

Ericka and her team does a great job researching cases and telling them in a way that is truthful, yet compassionate. I appreciate how she doesn’t hold back when needed, but she does not sensationalize cases for entertainment. I binge true crime pods, and this one remains at the top of my favorites list!

Simply the best

Every show is crafted to perfection. They are well researched and give a short description of the area in which the crime occurred. That helps to understand the story. Erika’s voice is soothing and has that southern charm. My favorite podcast by far!

Erica Kelley presents a rich story with detailed location history, taking the time to present the mood, thoughtful and empathetic, with charm and grace. This was my first introduction of true crime podcasts, and I do believe there is no other to top it.

SFTC is the absolute BEST true crime podcast out there! I honestly can’t even remember how I stumbled upon it, but as soon as I did, I binged it and finished them all! I love Erica’s storytelling and her southern accent. The only bad thing I can say is I wish there were new episodes DAILY ;) Thank you Erica & Haley for your hard work to create such a great podcast!

Southern Belle Speaking Southern Crime

I love this podcast & Erica’s devotion to it. Considering I have lived in the great State of Tennessee my entire life, I love that a hometown girl is thriving y’all! Thank you Erica for your hard work, soothing voice and method of storytelling! One of my favorite podcasts to listen to! Even though Erica has the most soothing voice, she has never played the Sandman for me and sent me off to sleep. I have binged every single episode and have to impatiently wait for the next episode to drop. You are wonderful Erica!
