Yokai Detective Agency
Yokai Detective Agency
Welcome to the town of Darkness Falls, tucked away in a shadowed corner of New England. Created as a safe haven for the supernatural, follow Private Detective Ren Black and the Yokai Detective Agency in a noir-inspired mystery as he navigates darkness, love, and betrayal. Produced by the team at Cactus Cat Creations, this series follows the aftermath of the murder of Shiro Minagawa, Ren Black's former partner and lover. The YDA team had lost track of the killer, Gabriel, after he disappeared through a portal after sacrificing Shiro to help bring back his master. Lost in his grief, Ren had shut himself away for a year in an alcoholic stupor. After a letter addressed to Black from Gabriel appears at the YDA, he is pulled back into the fray with a new partner assignment in rookie Hiro Akashi. Will the two be able to work together to track Gabriel down, or will the past catch up to them first?

1
00:00:00,000 --> 00:00:02,680
We'll park the car over here until the place opens.

2
00:00:02,680 --> 00:00:03,680
Oi.

3
00:00:03,680 --> 00:00:04,680
Heh.

4
00:00:04,680 --> 00:00:06,180
Are you still with me, Sleeping Beauty?

5
00:00:06,180 --> 00:00:07,180
Hey, look.

6
00:00:07,180 --> 00:00:09,680
I'm not that weak that I would just pass out like that.

7
00:00:09,680 --> 00:00:11,400
What do you think of me?

8
00:00:11,400 --> 00:00:13,640
Really now, you're a man of great stamina?

9
00:00:13,640 --> 00:00:17,600
I need to see some proof before I believe such a bold statement.

10
00:00:17,600 --> 00:00:21,960
Well, if I did that, then we would really lose a lot of focus here, you know?

11
00:00:21,960 --> 00:00:24,680
I could seduce you if I tried.

12
00:00:24,680 --> 00:00:27,600
Oh, could you now?

13
00:00:27,600 --> 00:00:29,640
I'll speak louder than words, Hiro.
