My favorite true crime podcast! I love Erica’s voice, it is so calming. I also love the respect she shows for the victims and their families. I’m find many true crime podcasts to be exploitative but not SFTC!
I love that Erica always shares the facts! She is so compassionate and caring in her commentary. She never exploits the victims in any way.

I love listening to this podcast. Ericka has a soothing voice, and if you’re in the mood for listening about the crime-without all the side story’s-this one is for you.
I really love how thorough the research is on its case and on its setting in place and time. Erica Kelley pulls no punches when she sees injustice in investigations or trials. But she is also very attentive to telling a well-rounded story that respects victims and survivors. A really great podcast about crime in the contemporary and historical South.
Love this podcast, but the Michael Petersen episode ended so abruptly without any resolution. Very strange, I’ve never experienced that with this channel before
It took me a couple of months but I binged the entire library and I am caught up.
I love Erica’s voice, raspy and mysterious. Plus, you can tell they are doing some serious research on these cases. You have to respect the hard work involved. But my favorite part of this podcast is her opinion time. It’s very entertaining and makes me laugh.

I have been listening to Southern Fried True Crime for the last few years and I thoroughly enjoy Erica Kelly’s storytelling. She paints a picture with her words that I can see in my mind. I look forward to every episode and delight in the notification of a new one. Most of all, I feel like I’m listening to a friend relay the story. Even her parting words “Until next time, y’all take care” is like a warm hug. Give this podcast a listen: you won’t be disappointed!
I love this Podcast not just because I’m a Southerner, but I learn about stories that typically I have never heard about. It makes house work go such more smooth when I can put an airpod in one ear and just listen away. Love Southern Fried True Crime! Keep up the good work!

Loved this at first but after time the woke narrative becomes very apparent- We get it white ppl suck………The town history thing gets old and without any guest or recordings so does her voice.
Only complaint is the ads are so much louder than Erika’s voice. Always startled me when an ad comes on. I wish the ad volume would match host’s volume.
I love relistening as I fall asleep.
Erica is a good storyteller, does a lot of good research, and doesn’t suffer fools, ridiculous criticism, or political idiocy. This is a smart, concise, and interesting podcast. One of my faves!
