Listener Reviews

Great job on the podcast
One of the best I’ve listened to. Also great voice, very easy listening!
Definition of a broken system
This is an excellent podcast. The case highlights a sad fact: the people behind bars aren’t always all bad, and the people behind the law aren’t always all good. I will pray Mr. Schofield is released and fully exonerated. And I will pray Mr. Scott finds peace with the trauma of his childhood and impact of the things he has done.
Amazing
I spend a lot of my time in the car driving listening to podcasts. This podcast by far is one of the best I’ve heard hopefully the state of Florida sees it the right way and frees this man.
Absolutely Incredible
I pray this podcast will grow to become as big and as life changing as the podcasts that highlighted the cases against Adnan Syed and Curtis Flowers. THIS IS A MUST LISTEN.
🤯 insane good
An amazingly produced podcast with twists and turns that will leave your jaw open.
The best podcast I have ever heard.
The story here is so horrific and sad that it’s almost unbelievable. But told so beautifully. Please listen.
Highly recommend
The story is great but it also hurts your heart another wrongful conviction with dirty sheriffs from Florida dirty prosecutors and the review boards sit in judgment of a man wrongfully convicted with no physical proof.Everyone responsible for preventing this case to be heard again should be tarred and feathered wait until their time comes and they are judged by GodFor this crime
In My Top 5
I’ve listened to a lot of True Crime podcasts, and this is definitely one of the best. It is engaging and well told and does a great job honoring the victim and representing everyone involved. Greatly helped by the hosts’ investment in the case, you feel the emotions alongside them - hope, anger, sadness. Thank you for shining a light on this case!
Binge listen
This podcast is so good. Once I started listening, I couldn’t stop and actively wait for the new episodes to release. Such great investigating and reporting that keeps the listener engaged. Highly recommend!
listen. listen, listen, listen.
This story is so important. It is devastating & enraging & awful to hear Leo’s story (a story that’s exceptionally researched, written, & told by Gilbert & Kelsey). I walked away with the burning desire to DO SOMETHING. ANYTHING. to help change the script here. It’s so critical that this podcast gets the exposure required to make a difference in this case. Really, do listen.
A Justice system far beyond broken!
This podcast is something I can’t even describe with words! It’s kept me up at night, I’ve shed many of tears for not only Leo but Jeremy & all involved. A turned stomach of knots with a sickness thinking about the realization of our broken Justice system & corruption beyond anything anyone could even imagine. Egregious behavior from the ones at the very top that hold the life of one’s in the palm of their hands.
A must listen!
I’ve listened to many podcasts and this is a must! Wrongful conviction and corruption with the police and DA office. Heartbreaking but I’m so glad this story is told.
This show Has Layers!
It begins as a simple story about a man in jail for killing his wife, and the man who actually did it. And for many true crime podcasts that would be the whole story, but this podcast is about so many things, young love, unlikely romances, tenacious reporting, empathy, or at least understanding for the real murderer. It shows what damage is wrought when the justice system can’t get it right by either not convicting a dangerous person before he goes on to kill again or by convicting someone of killing somebody they loved and the pain that causes. All the characters are really interesting too. I’m in to it.
Very well done!
A great, sad story that was told very well. I hope Leo gets the justice I believe he deserves.
Masterful story telling
I listen to a lot of true crime podcasts, and this may be the best I have ever encountered. Not only was the story well told, but the level of humanity brought to such a sad, horrible story is commendable. I sat in my car, with tears streaming down my cheeks as this wrapped the last episode. This is a complex situation and I really appreciate that the due diligence was done and instead of demonizing and simplifying the people and details the listeners were able to really feel the situation and all those involved. Well done.
Justice for Leo
Riveting. No stone left unturned to find the truth. The lack of interest by the Florida legal system and law enforcement to dig deep and find the truth is shocking.
Free Leo
This is an amazing podcast but a heart breaking story. Even without the confession of Jeremy, the timeline and witness testimony never made sense. Leo deserves freedom.
Heartbreaking, tragic, and incredibly well done as a podcast.
Just finished episode 9…the end of this story nearly brought me to tears. I was captivated throughout, and simultaneously devastated by the injustice of the whole thing.
Why we call PIGS, PIGS and not the police
Great podcast Have not listen to them all, yetHopefully, this podcast will help get him out of PRISON!That poor man received NO HELP and those cops never even tried They just wanted another conviction What do they make bonuses for every conviction ?Regardless, it’s nice to listen to a different type of podcast Now and days they all seem to merge together So thank you
Excellent True Crime Story
This podcast was so well put together and presented. It’s one of the best podcasts I’ve listened too and hated having to turn it off. The time and research of every person and event that took place was extraordinary. This is such a glaring example of how corrupt and messed up the judicial system is. As a resident living near Polk County, FL it was surprising even by their standards. Hearing Leo’s story, in his own words, was compelling, heartbreaking, maddening and fascinating all at once. I can’t recommend this podcast enough.
WOW
As good as it gets when it comes to true crime podcasts.
Just wait a week for the next episode to be free!!
The new episodes are subscription, then after a week they become free. Just be patient. They are not ripping you off, they are just offering an incentive for people who pay for the content. Either pay, or just be patient. This content is sooo well done and the story is so important.
Bone Valley
BRAVO… I savored the final episode just now. Gotta a lot to process on this one!Thank You Gilbert & Kelsey for bringing this astounding story to us in such a gripping way. I’ll be tracking along on this one… with love and admiration - and a lot of prayer and good wishes for Leo. I’m looking forward to watching the ripple effects this story of redemption can conclude with… FREEDOM FOR LEO. This story gives us a down payment on the price of redemption… grinding down on the truth - the reward of which will be Leo’s freedom!
Great work!
Very interesting and well put together.
