Best Podcast
This show is one of the best podcasts ever! It is consistently intellectually stimulating. A must add to your playlist.
My post graduate education
I love this show and the host and have recommended it to many people. I have a PhD in sociology and find wonderful lessons in each episode. For me, the best measure of any podcasts is not just the enjoyment of listening but the engagement with ideas. Thanks so much, Hidden Brain.
Consistently interesting and entertaining
I immediately feel comforted when I hear Shankar’s voice. Innovative & interesting one of the best podcasts there is.
Great dialogs!
I really enjoyed the “The Edge of Gender” episode. Very informative and educational. Thank you!
Great show - highly recommended
As an Economist, I absolutely recommend this podcast to anyone who’s slightly interested in why we behave the way we behave. Kudos to Shankar for being such an amazing story teller, and same goes to the behind the scenes fellas.
Constantly evolving and learning!
Hidden Brain quenches my thirst for deep thought and self reflection. It excites my curiosity and makes me happy to be human.
Great show
I just love this show, it is something we all should listen to us
Thought provoking fresh ideas
I have listened for a long time, but the unforgiving pandemic era news loop made me appreciate Hidden Brain so much more. The ideas are fresh, inspiring, and often ping around in my brain for months and weeks after. I have podcasts that I’ve shared from Shankar’s library for years afterwards because they’ve made such a strong impression.
Great new listen
I was so happy to find this podcast. I listen to Podcasts for much of the day while I work, and Shankar’s voice always, somehow, makes me feel better. He is insightful and kind, and I always have something wonderful to ponder after listening. Keep up the good work. Thank you, Shankar, for being a kind and thoughtful voice during these times we are living in. It means a lot to your listeners.
Great Show
I love this show.
Love this podcast but the Work 2.0 episode literally almost gave me a panic attack
I love love love this podcast in general. But this particular episode regarding games and impact to work…I felt like it was sped up in conversation. Ethan talks so fast it literally stressed me out no matter how fascinating his content is. Is he on cocaine or a bunch of coffee? Content was amazing but I was super stressed out by his speeding conversation.
Work 2.0: Game On!
Fascinating episode about making a career choice in studying and designing games and how they can improve our work life and our performance in our daily tasks. Well thought out questions and answers — a real pleasure to listen to.
Thoughtful & engaging
My favorite podcast. I listen because it’s an enjoyable, accessible way to spark my learning on a variety of meaningful topics, many personally relevant. The host makes it an easy listen.
I LIVE for this podcast
I have listened to almost every episode for many years now. I learn so much. I enjoy so much. My daily conversations are richer and my perspectives are continually diversifying. Thank you!!
Shankar's laughter!
When Shankar laughs, it makes me smile, his laughter is so soothing!
Fantastic!
I’m typically a true crime podcast listener. Tonight, for some reason I needed something to lift my mood, pull me out of a mini funk. I listened to the episode called, Being Kind to Yourself. It was exactly what I needed! Great information that forces you to take a deeper dive into your feelings.
Love this show. It’s quick and great
I really live this show. Some podcasts i listen to are an hour and a half to two hours and i don’t always have time but this is great and entertaining and my JAM. Also just went back to old episodes and they’re awesome

Work 2.0 is one of the most insightful yet!
I always enjoy Hidden Brain, but Work 2.0 i shared with a more diverse set of family, co-workers and friends than any prior episode. Thank you for the fantastic research, insightful stories and fascinating presentation of this podcast. It is consistently my favorite. Keep up the great work!
