Ain’t Nobody Got Time For That: The Ladies Of Summer Series
Stay Tuned for these episodes coming your way.
Don & Gary are officially outnumbered. This special series features three powerful, innovative, and resourceful women who have done more before breakfast than we've done all week.
Anna Weidman — world-class rower who actually moves faster than our Wi-Fi.
Lisa Zadek — professional violinist and world traveler who's seen more of the world than our GPS can pronounce.
Desiree Esler — grandmother extraordinaire and master storyteller who can hold a room's attention longer than Don can hold a thought.
Inspiring stories, great laughs, and occasional reminders that maybe we should get off the couch more often.

Don P-Pafifer Podcast Productions: Summer's in full swing with Don and Gary doing 60. Welcome to our favorite segment, Ain't Nobody Got Time For That, with the Ladies of Summer. When I was in my fees I think someone described it as your fuck you fifties. And I love that. I mean, those were words to live by. I don't I mean, I don't cut much time for what other people think of me, for one thing. I'm gonna do my th I'm gonna be my true and authentic self. I'm gonna, you know, follow my heart, you know, listen to my intuition and do my thing. And I don't really care what other people think about me. So And and it's maybe it's â it's akin to where we started in terms of maturity. It's like I was very interested in being adult and responsible and coloring b you know between the lines. Not no more. My words to live by and I saw it saw it on a piece of art I I saw in one of my travels in the fall. You know, fuck normal. I want magic. And that's that's where it that's where I'm trying to live. You've been performing with the Berkeley Symphony for over forty years. I know. It's a long time. Great. That's amazing. Is it is pretty crazy and amazing. Yeah, I auditioned in college. I hate auditioning. I'm not good at auditioning. I was accepted into Berkeley. And I've clung on to that. You mentioned her mother was in the Foreign Service. Wasn't one of your trips to kind of retrace some of her steps of where she had been? She had cocktails with Truman or Eisenhower at the embassy in Mexico City. And so she's she had her fun time with celebrities and she certainly took advantage of coming backstage at the symphony. We had Ross Tovich conducting and she actually swooned when she met him. How does one swoon? If you were to â have someone carved on your personal Mount Rushmore, who would it be? Someone either inspirational, a comedian, someone that you admire, who would be on your Mount Rushmore, along with yourself, your family, and everybody. You know what? Probably my grandson. Probably my grandson's. I've learned so much from him in his short little seven years. Probably probably him because of seeing how he has to survive in this world and you know We've just learned so much from that game. Okay, and if I could have to, I'd put Charlie up there too, because she's a pretty amaz I know she's my granddaughter, but she's a pretty amazing little human being. She really is. Nice. So that's good questions. Right? I know. Imagine us doing this how many years, Gary? Now 25 years in the podcast business. Making millions and millions of dollars, sending out massive checks to our guests.
