Guess what?
We're ALL getting older. Surprise!
Welcome to Don&Gary Doin' 60
We're here to unwrap and unpack navigating the world at...THIS age.
C'mon In, the waters fine.
This episode was probably one of our most honest, straightforward and interesting interviews so far. Phoebe Fazio has been living life to fullest with highs and lows, exhilarating adventures and obstacles to overcome. We hope you have enjoyed this…

Don and Gary Doin' 60: Celebrate Pride 🌈They may be pushing 60, but they’re still out here pushing boundaries—and buttons! Together, they're marching (slowly but proudly) in the Pride parade with more sass than stamina. Expect glitter…
Don was born in New York and was raised in SF Bay Area. He has lived in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, and San Francisco (again). He finally landed in Redondo Beach, CA. He spends as much time as he can in Palm Springs with his 'Best Boys' Wire Fox Terriers, Boomer & Rocket (and his husband). He swears Gary is wrong about his age and he is only 47. (Obviously, math is not his strong suit)
The odyssey started with "3P's In A Podcast" where he partnered with Gary while co-hosting two other shows.
Dons’ passion for podcasting is rooted in what he sees as an opportunity to share information, highlight people’s personal stories, and supporting the ‘Aging & LGBTQ+' communities. Observing many older people both gay and straight struggling with social isolation, ageism, physical & mental health issues, and most importantly, asking the question “HOW ARE YOU DOIN’? We feel it’s vital to share as much information and individual narratives to reassure people. WE SEE YOU! and we are going to be ok.
Dons message is " We all need to know there ARE people out there going through what WE are going through." There are organizations, and wonderful resources who can help.
C’mon In. The water is fine!
Gary Pegueros
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Gary is the youngest of four boys, an uncle to eight nieces/nephews, and a great uncle to three (so far). On his mom’s side, he has a huge extended family in various parts of Mexico. Gary enjoys travel and has taken numerous flights to Europe over the past 40+ years. Long-term commitment is a familiar phrase when it comes to Gary: He has worked for the same man for over 36 years. He has volunteered for the San Francisco Fire Department for over 20 years. He has volunteered for his Neighborhood Association for over 17 years. He has lived in San Francisco for over 30 years, 21+ years at his current home. He has numerous friends that he has known for over 25 years, and some since Kindergarten / Elementary School. It was not until 2020 when Gary became a pod-ite (or what I call a fan of podcasts). After three years of being 1/3 of the “3 P’s in a Podcast” show, Gary teamed up with longtime friend (and fellow “3 P’s in a Podcast” host) Don Pfeifer to continue the fun in our “Don and Gary Doin’ 60” podcast.
