If you've every wondered about what it takes to be resilient after a tragic loss then this episode is for you.  Our guest is a former Orleans Parish School Board member and Dillard, SUNO and community college professor, Dr. Heidi Lovett, PhD. Doc Sunshine is an experienced researcher on student achievement and technology and has presented on this topic all over the world including Canada, China and London. She’s a member fo Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and is also a triathlete.  

After the death of her son, Dr. Lovett organized scholarship and raised over $13,000 and started a support group for grieving parents.  Dr.  Lovett has a new book, Blessing for Our Baby.
