Comments turn your episode pages into a conversation — listeners can share reactions, ask questions, and talk with each other right on your website. Podpage supports two commenting systems: Disqus (free) and Hyvor Talk (paid). Comments appear on your episode pages and blog posts.
Available on the Pro plan and above.
How to enable comments
- In your dashboard, go to Engage Listeners → Collect Comments.
- Enter your Disqus Shortname or your Hyvor Website ID — see below for where to find them.
- Click Save. Comments now appear at the bottom of every episode page and blog post.
Setting up Disqus
- Create a free account at disqus.com and register your site. Disqus gives your site a shortname — here's how to find yours.
- Paste it into the Your Disqus Shortname field in your Podpage dashboard and click Save.
Setting up Hyvor Talk
- Create an account at Hyvor Talk (a paid service) and add your website in their console.
- Copy your Website ID from Hyvor's General settings page.
- Paste it into the Hyvor Website ID field in your Podpage dashboard and click Save.
Note: If you enter both, Podpage uses Disqus. Facebook comments are no longer supported — Facebook discontinued its commenting widget across the web in February 2026.
Tip: You moderate comments in your Disqus or Hyvor dashboard, not in Podpage — set up their notification emails so you never miss a new comment.
