Podpage sends a few kinds of email around your website: confirmation emails to people who join your mailing list, and notification emails to you when things happen on your site (like a new episode importing). Here's how they're configured — and what to check when they don't arrive.
Not receiving notification emails?
- Check your spam/junk and trash folders — notifications sometimes get filtered there.
- In your dashboard, go to Settings → Notifications. Confirm your notification email address is correct and actively monitored, and that the alerts you want (such as New Episode Email) are turned on.
If emails still don't arrive after that, ask your email provider to check for delivery issues — or contact Podpage support and we'll investigate.
Emails to your subscribers
When someone signs up for your mailing list, Podpage sends them a confirmation email to verify their address. To understand that flow, see Does Podpage email people who join my list? and Understanding confirmed vs. unconfirmed email addresses.
Podpage can also automatically email your subscribers when a new episode drops — see Episode Alerts.
Connecting an email marketing service
Podpage collects email addresses for you, but it isn't a full email marketing platform. To send newsletters and campaigns, connect your Podpage signup form to a service like Mailchimp, Kit (formerly ConvertKit), AWeber, or Constant Contact — see How to connect your email list.
