Connecting your own domain (like www.yourshow.com) makes your website feel fully yours and helps your brand and SEO. Setup takes three steps: add your domain in Podpage, update your DNS records at your registrar, then wait for the changes to take effect.
Before you start: Podpage doesn't sell or host domain names, so buy your domain from a registrar such as Namecheap or GoDaddy. You won't transfer the domain to Podpage — you'll just point it at your website.
How to connect your domain
- In your dashboard, go to Settings → Custom Domain and enter your domain.
- Log in to your registrar and open your domain's DNS settings. If you can't find them, search your registrar's help site for "how to change DNS records."
- Add the DNS records Podpage shows you — a CNAME and, for root domains, an A record. The exact values are listed in What are the Podpage DNS settings for my domain?
- Wait for the changes to propagate. This usually takes a couple of hours, but can take up to 48. Temporary SSL warnings during this window are normal.

"Your connection is not private" error. This usually means the SSL certificate hasn't been issued yet, or a forwarding rule points to http instead of https. Make sure any forwarding uses HTTPS, and give the changes a couple of hours to propagate.
Your domain shows an old website. Disable any domain forwarding at your registrar, confirm your DNS records match Podpage's instructions, and wait for the new settings to propagate.
