Marie Henriksen

Marie Slider Henriksen is a combat medic Army veteran who has experienced multiple traumas, addictions and disabilities. Marie focuses on recovery advocacy, speaking and podcasting. She writes about healing with faith, overcoming pain and resentments. She is a co-host on a podcast called coffee-talk-with-bryan-and-marie encouraging veterans and first responders to heal out loud, from PTSD to advocacy. She has recently created a Facebook group called Sliderbabe open to all for “creatively healing out loud through community.”
