Podcast Host/Author/Recovery Counselor

Jason Fareas is a recovery counselor, podcast host, author, and advocate whose work is grounded in both professional experience and lived recovery. After years in the corporate and compliance world, Jason redirected his career toward helping individuals and families affected by substance use disorder. He now works in clinical treatment, supporting clients through recovery, relapse prevention, personal accountability, and the rebuilding of meaningful lives.

Jason is also the creator and host of a long form recovery focused podcast, where he speaks candidly about addiction, trauma, identity, relationships, and the often complicated path toward change. His forthcoming memoir, My Madness METHod, expands upon those conversations by recounting his experiences with addiction, criminality, loss, survival, and recovery with honesty, humor, and perspective. At the center of his work is a simple purpose: to help people feel less alone and to give individuals and families a more human understanding of addiction and recovery.
