Happy Birthday to King Charles who is marking his 76th birthday with more than cake and candles—he’s opening the first two hubs of his Coronation Food Project, a new initiative aimed at fighting food insecurity and waste.

The Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, has resigned following a damning report that revealed the Church of England’s cover-up of abuse perpetrated by John Smyth QC, a barrister accused of horrific abuse over decades.

King Charles, who oversees the Church, accepted Welby’s resignation. Welby had presided over Charles’ coronation.
