We are constantly evolving and growing day by day. We face many challenges and obstacles in our lives, and sometimes it can feel like we're just trying to survive.
It's been said that we all have two lives. The first life is the one we live until we realize we have a second life. The second life is the one we live after discovering our purpose to lead a fulfilling life.
For our guest Charlie Cifarelli, he found his purpose in life through a viral video of a homeless man's companion named Star, who was shot by the New York Police Department.
Through Star, Charlie is able to live his second life where he pursues justice and truth as well as valuing compassion, empathy, understanding, and humanity. In this episode, we'll hear about his story and mission to help others, especially through his book 14th & 2nd.
From Long Island, life dealt Charlie a difficult hand early on. He was born in a position not to succeed and lived a lifetime of secrecy. He worked hard and found success by rising through the ranks in the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services and then starting his own successful business. In addition, Charlie is also the co-founder of a nonprofit organization, a sought-after speaker at various business and social awareness functions, and has been featured in the media regarding animal advocacy.
