James H. Lilley a retired Howard County Md. Police Sergeant is our guest. In addition to his career as a law enforcement officer, he is an expert in the 
martial arts, earning a black belt and he is the author of numerous books. James talks about his police career and focuses his discussion on the use of force by law enforcement officers to subdue and diffuse violent situations. He discusses the use of and need for choke holds in certain situations and how the defund the police movement actually makes us all less safe.
