Welcome to another episode of Bent Not Broken. Heartbreak and trauma may feel like the end of your story, but here it's the beginning of a bold new chapter. I'm your host, Coach Deborah Griffiths, and this is the space where women rise, rebuild, and rediscover their purpose. Remember this truth. You are bet, not broken. If you've ever looked at your bank account or your credit card balance and felt that wave of panic rise up in your chest, this episode is for you. Because today we're not talking about shame. We're not talking about fear. We're talking about taking your power back. I'm Coach Deborah and welcome to this Bent Not Broken Bonus Coaching Session. Let's start here. If you are feeling overwhelmed financially, especially after divorce, leaving a toxic relationship, or becoming a single mom, you're not feeling. You are adjusting to a completely different life. You went from one household to two, from shared responsibility to caring it all. That's not weakness, that's reality. And here's the truth I want you to hold on to. You are not bad with money. You were never taught how this system actually works. One of the most powerful things our guest said is this your credit score is not your worth. Let me say that again. Your credit score is not your worth. It is simply a number that tells lenders how well you play their game. But right now, we're not playing their game. We're rebuilding your life. So here's your mindset shift. Stop trying to look financially good and start working to become financially free. Now let's get practical. If you're overwhelmed, I want you to focus on just three simple steps. Step one, stabilize your foundation. Before anything else, take care of your basics, your rent or your mortgage, your food, your utilities, your transportation. That is your foundation. Not your credit cards, not your score. Your job is to create stability for you and for your children. Step two, face the numbers without emotion. I know this is the hard part, but avoidance creates anxiety. Clarity creates control. So I want you to sit down and ask, what do I owe? What are my minimum payments? What is my income? No judgment, no shame, just facts. Because action brings clarity. Step three, choose a strategy and not panic. Once you know your numbers, you have options. You can use the snowball method, which is paying off one debt at a time. There's debt settlement, there's credit counseling, and bankruptcy if necessary. There's no perfect option, only the option that works for you right now. And making a decision, even a small one, moves you out of stuck. Now let's talk about something we don't say enough. The system profits when you stay in debt. So why are you carrying shame for something designed to trap you? Let that go. You are not irresponsible, you are not behind. You are learning, you are growing, and you are taking your life back. I want you to hear this. You can rebuild your finances the same way you rebuilt your life. One step at a time, one decision at a time, one brave moment at a time. You've already done the hard things. This is just your next chapter. And if you know another woman who is feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or silently struggling with her finances, please share this episode with her. You never know who needs to hear that she's not alone. And if you're ready to go deeper, if you're ready to not just survive this season, but to truly rebuild your life, I invite you to book a discovery call with me. The link is in the show notes. Because you don't have to figure this out on your own. Remember, you are not broken, you are rebuilding. And your next chapter starts now. Thank you for listening to today's episode of Bent Not Broken. I hope that this episode reminded you that even through life's toughest moments, you are bent not broken. If this message inspired you, please share, rate, review, and subscribe, as it helps us reach more women who are ready to rise and rebuild.
