S5E5: Is Self-Love Biblical? Positive Affirmations vs. True Confidence

MacKenzie Ryder has been set free from self-hatred. As she was discipled throughout high school, she knew in her head that God loved her, but the thoughts she would daily think about herself did not match up with His Truth and His feelings for her. In the process of getting to know God on a deeper level, she realized how badly her thoughts needed to change.

We talk about:

- What is the difference between self-hatred and self-discipline?

- Is self-love Biblical?

- What is the difference between positive affirmations and believing the Truth about yourself? Is there a difference at all?

- How can you overcome self-hatred when it's all you've ever known?
