The lies are that sin is not a big deal to God, man is basically good and that denial is the best way forward. The truth is that sin is always the problem, but Jesus is always the solution!

How do I know that I am saved? It's a question that many of us ask. But John writes that the quest for Christian assurance is a group project. 1 John is not a test but a study guide for the believer, not so that we can prove to God we are saved, but that God can prove to us that we are saved! The same Jesus who gave us life also gives us assurance.

On sanctity of life Sunday we look to the life that was laid down for us. Jesus calls a divine audible on a Jewish tradition and creates a new one for us to follow in the Lord's supper as we drink up, eat up and look up!

Director of Children's Ministry Tim Helm fills the pulpit for our last Sunday gathering of 2021 bringing the hope of Christmas....future!

The Christmas season is a lot like Pastor Tyler's favorite dessert: dark chocolate. It's sweet, but it's also bitter. Ecclesiastes 3:1-15 shows us that things will sometimes be a season of sweet, and sometimes there will be a season of bitter. Yet through this we learn to embrace the gifts and the pain through the lens of the giver.

Keep calm and carry on. As Daniel comes to a close, this is the message that God gives to Daniel, and to us, as the end of times is prophesied. Evil people are coming, and God's people will go through trials, but God promises that both will come to an end!

Daniel is horrified and depressed by the events that have transpired, but the Lord brings an angel to give him peace and comfort in his worst moments.
