Over the past few weeks, I've been eagerly promoting my Podcast Bootcamp scheduled for August 3rd…All the while hearing the song. “Hold On Loosely” humming in the background of my heart. I've invested time, energy, and resources into making it a success.
However, I have some updated news to share with you all—read to the end for the announcement.
The Power of Pivoting:
I want to share about the importance of embracing change and being willing to pivot in our entrepreneurial journeys. As I evaluated my social media strategy and one-on-one meetings, I realized that my initial plan might not be the best way to serve my ideal potential customers—christian women and moms interested in starting a podcast. I had chosen a date that I thought would work perfectly, but I was wrong.
The Learning Process:
As entrepreneurs, we are in a constant state of learning and growth. We must continuously evaluate how we can best serve our clients and align our actions with our values. While I firmly believe in the value and effectiveness of my Podcast Bootcamp, I've come to understand that the timing was off. It's essential not to let setbacks become personal failures but instead see them as opportunities for growth.
Reflecting on Your Business:
When you face a situation where your coaching program or latest course launch doesn't go as planned, take a deep breath and consider these questions:
- Is it my mindset? Our thoughts and beliefs influence the way we present ourselves and our offerings. If you find yourself struggling with self-doubt or desperation, it's crucial to seek coaching and work on your mindset.
- Are you clear about the results you deliver? Potential clients want to know what they will gain from joining your program. Even if it's your first time offering a course, highlight the results you've achieved for others through individual coaching or other means.
- Are you paying attention to your clients' rhythms of life? External factors, such as the current season or world events, can impact your clients' engagement. Be aware of these factors and consider adjusting your program's timing to better align with their needs.
The Importance of Traction and Results:
Building credibility and trust with your audience is essential, especially when launching a new program or course. Sharing testimonials from past clients or offering free coaching in exchange for feedback and testimonials can help establish confidence in your offerings. You can also utilize your podcast! Share the progress people have made because of your coaching program.
Just like how I've shifted the start date of my next round of Podcast Bootcamp to September 7th, right after Labor Day, don't be afraid to adjust and pivot your plans. Be open to Holy Spirit’s leading and allow yourself the flexibility to adapt as needed.
As we navigate the world of entrepreneurship, it's crucial to remember that setbacks and adjustments are a natural part of the process. Embracing change and being willing to pivot are signs of strength, not weakness. So, if you've faced challenges with your coaching program or course launch, take heart and learn from the experience. Trust that every obstacle is an opportunity for growth and improvement.
