(Recording Dates: March 27 & 28, 2022)
In this episode:
We have our Coast-to-Coast-to-Coast COVID (and because they are now inextricably linked) and Convoy update, and we once again look at how the situation in Ukraine has evolved, and then look a bit closer at Canada's role over the past few weeks.
And of course, we'll finish it off with our blog page, Twitter feed, and podcast reader/listener feedback, and a quick celebration of Canadians who have made us proud of late.
Not everyone can do everything. But everyone can do a something. Because we believe that “Democracy Is Something You Do”, this week we have two suggestions for things you could do:
1) If you want to let a certain nation know you're not on their side, feel free to e-mail a package of sunflower seeds to:
ATTN: Ambassador Alexander Darchiev
Embassy of (you know where)
285 Charlotte St, Ottawa, ON K1N 8L5
2) As the price of food is rising, if you are able to help, please donate to your local food bank.
And please check out our most recent interview with John Stopford to learn about a disquieting situation that could be taking place in small town retirement residences throughout the country.
Finally, on a lighter note, we want to know: What are you looking forward to most this spring?
You can do that via our show’s Facebook blog page on via Twitter @TrueEager.
Of course, retweets, shares, gentle corrections, constructive criticism, compliments, tips, requests and positive reviews (if you think we deserve some stars, please rate us) are always welcome.
Until then, be kind to, and gentle with, yourselves,
Your Eager Beaver
