Several bills are being passed and introduced as the House of Commons is about to rise for the summer.

We will talk about the lawful access bill, the First Nations clean drinking water bill, the bail and sentencing bill, and a private member's bill on the therapeutic use of magic mushrooms coming, surprisingly from a Conservative MP, who seemingly even more surprisingly, wants to actually be helpful.

Canadians are less and less impressed with their Premiers, and Ontario Premier Pork and Gravy goes the full Trump when told his approvals have dropped to 21%, the worst in the nation.

But we open with an exploration of general weirdness from the Conservatives crying about 'our common history and culture' except when it comes to 'Hockey Night in Canada' on/or the CBC; an Ontario Conservative MPP engaging in misogyny in the legislature, separatists in Alberta making threats and ruining things for everyone else; Paul Saint-Pierre (Poilièvre) Plamondon tanking in Québec.

On today's Canadians Who Make Us Proud, we speak of our national women's softball team's bid to qualify for the Olympics and rising tennis star Victoria Mboko.
