Ouellet Couldn't Last --- The Daily Beaver Morning Show (A Tuesday Morsel)

It's a new year, and our Not Quite Daily Beaver Morning Show is on its way to becoming Quite Daily indeed!

Soon, Monday through Friday, we have a (sometimes quick) daily take on the news, in addition to our usual formats.

On today's episode, we talk about men of the cloth behaving badly given the sudden resignation of influential Canadian Cardinal -- once thought of as being on the fast track to the Papacy -- Marc Ouellet, one of the 96 members of the Archdiocese of Québec City named in a sexual impropriety class action lawsuit filed by 130 individuals last summer. We also chat about efforts to extradite Johannes Rivoire from France to Canada to face charges of having abused Inuit children. We close off the show with a bit of news of the passing of two big names in hockey: Bobby Hull and Gino Odjick.
