#ELXN45 — Election Day: A Sudden Shift in Tone -- The Daily Beaver Morning Show

On Episode 28 of our 45th federal general election coverage (AKA Episode 635 of The Daily Beaver Morning Show), today is Election Day!

Please do democracy: Vote.

If you have difficulty making it to a polling station, call your candidate's office. They often have volunteers on voting day who can arrange transportation.

Don't forget your ID (proof of name and proof of residence).

A profoundly tragic event in Vancouver, resulting in the taking of nearly a dozen lives, causes the campaigns to radically shift strategy and tone. What should normally be a frenetic race to the finish, is tempered by somber clouds.

We look at the events of the final weekend of the campaign and hear some voices that have not been as present as they should have been.
