2023 In Review: Stories of the Year -- The Daily Beaver Morning Show Episode 284 Dec 29, 2023

Hey Kits!

Weekdays at 7-ish Eastern, we livestream a (sometimes) quick take on the news, in addition to our usual formats.

Well, this is it. Our last show for 2023.

As we close out the year, we'd love to thank you so very much for the gift of your attention. We cherish it. In addition, we wish to express our gratitude for everything you've done for us throughout the year: all the stories you've brought to our attention; the positive promotional word-of-mouth you've given us; the literal gifts you've sent our way; your participation in our chats; the comments you've left on our platforms; the compliments to let us know we are on the right track and bits of constructive criticism to help us improve; the donations to The Beaver Lodge Emergency Hydration Fund via our ko-fi site; the YouTube Superchat donations; sponsorship of our Podpage site; all the retweets, likes, shares and subscriptions; and, all the times you have share in our joy and have been patient with our struggles... All of it made it such that we've grown so much in just one year.

To 'The Best #DAMFAM in all podcasting™', thank you for an exceptional 2023, and let's make 2024 the most Beaveriffic year ever!

TODAY WE TALK ABOUT THE NEWS STORIES THAT HAVE CAUGHT OUR ATTENTION, FOR BETTER AND WORSE.

Our morning show is the purrr-fect thing for busy Kits who are on-the-go, but still want to stay engaged.

This is episode 284 of the Daily Beaver Morning Show.

Not everyone can do everything. But everyone can do something.

Because #DemocracyIsSomethingYouDo...

Write to your MP, MPP, MLA, MNA, Senator, or preferred local media outlet to tell them you expect them to dig deep into the Doug Ford corruption story as well as indicted-in-the-USA-for-trying-to-steal-an-election Mike Roman's links to Stephen Harper and Andrew Scheer. And tell them you do approve of a national school food program

Be a good neighbour: Make sure to get your XBB, flu, pneumonia, and / or RSV shots, to be sure you're ready for both the respiratory virus and holiday gathering seasons. Let's all do our bit to keep our hospitals unclogged

Finally, support your fellow Canadians by donating to the Red Cross Wildfire Response. To do some good around the world, the Red Cross also has an appeal to help those devastated by the recent earthquake in Morocco.
