Why A Weak Powerhouse Causes Neck/Shoulder Pain

The Pilates Powerhouse describes the muscles in the center of the body - abs, all back muscles, glutes, and shoulders.

They need to be strong front, side, and back!

I can guarantee that most clients with neck and shoulder pain have weak backs.

If one part of the powerhouse is weak, the whole thing won't work well.

Strengthen before stretching, and you have a better shot at less pain. Stretch before strengthening, and things will most likely get worse.
