Osteoporosis

If you are a woman with low bone density (osteopenia or osteoporosis), you may have questions about what exercises are safe and effective, and how to modify your existing exercise program.

If you do Pilates, modifications are necessary to avoid thoracic vertebrae crush fractures and other problems.

In this video, I explain why modifications are necessary, and what you can do to help yourself.

I've been training clients with osteoporosis for over 30 years, and they all do great, with better bone density, better muscle strength, and better function.

I taught a livenar last week in my free Your Pilates Teacher group on FB, and you can watch the recording to learn all the basic modifications for osteoporosis, as well as my favorite functional exercises.

Check it out in the group - https://www.facebook.com/groups/yourpilatesteacher

On January 11, I will start leading a small group of women through a 6-week online program, Bone & Muscle Strength for Women 50+. Three safe, progressive workouts every week (one private, two classes), nutrition and food education, and mindset work, plus a private group to ask questions and share wins.

Through 12/31, save 30% on Bone & Muscle Strength for Women 50+ when you use code BYE2020.
