Pilates involves a lot of loaded spine flexion, which isn't great for those with low bone density. So, many women believe that it's just not the best exercise choice.
It's super easy to modify almost any exercise routine to be safe and effective for folks with osteoporosis or osteopenia.
In fact, many of my clients find the modified Strong Bones Pilates to be just as challenging, if not even more effective.
