The media player is the heart of every episode page. Podpage supports several player options so you can pick the listening experience that fits your show.
Your host's native player
By default, Podpage embeds your podcast host's own media player on your episode pages. Podpage supports the players of all major hosting companies, and every play is counted by your host, so your download stats stay accurate.
The Podpage audio player
You can replace your host's player with Podpage's built-in audio player, which adds extras like clickable timestamps in chapters and transcripts. To switch, go to Episodes → Episode Settings and turn on Use Podpage's Audio Player. Learn more about the built-in Podpage media player.
Fusebox
If you use Fusebox, you can replace all the media players across your website with your Fusebox player:
- In your dashboard, go to Settings → Integrations.
- Enter your ID in the Fusebox ID field and save.

Custom media players
You can also replace the player on any individual episode page with your own embeddable player:
- Get the embed code from your player's provider.
- In your dashboard, go to Episodes → All Episodes and open the episode.
- Paste the code into the Custom Media Player Embed HTML Code field and save.
