Connecting a Hover domain to your Podpage takes a couple of DNS changes. Once they're in place, your website loads at your own domain name.
Before you start, add your domain in Podpage: in your dashboard, go to Settings → Custom Domain and enter your domain. Podpage then shows you the exact records to add and remove.
How to update your DNS at Hover
- Log in to your Hover account.
- Select the domain you want to connect.
- In the top menu, click DNS.

- If a CNAME record with the host www already exists, click Edit on it. If not, click Add a Record at the top.

- Enter the Podpage records below, then save your changes.
The records to enter
- CNAME record — Host: www (or your subdomain), Value: domains.podpage.com
- A record — Host: @, Value: 54.90.47.105 (only needed when your site lives at www.yourdomain.com)
If you see a TTL setting, leave it at the default. For the full details on these records, see What are the Podpage DNS settings for my domain?
Tip: DNS changes can take up to 24 hours to spread across the internet. After a few minutes, click Verify Changes on your Custom Domain page to check your setup.
