I enjoy this podcast so much. So many hidden gems. So often I say to myself I’m so glad I listened to this today! Mike Carruthers voice and way he speaks is wonderful and really pleasant. But more importantly he asks great informed questions that really add to the presenter’s topic. Just love it.

I generally enjoy SYSK. Mike is so very pleasant to listen to and most of the time the info is useful. Just have to say I’m so tired of people misrepresenting the change in Roe vs Wade. The decision simply sent authority back to each state. The Gestapo did not ban abortion.

Generally enjoy the podcast but when a guest relates an individual who promotes the great replacement theory as an optimist - that seems obviously contradictory and removes some credibility.

This podcast about optimism was interesting, but a cild norm into wealth and prestige as did Elon Musk, is radically going to have differing self and world views of optimism than a child born and raised in squalor or war time or just being born a working class person in America, where opportunity today is limited. Economics still colors optimism or its lack thereof. Thanks! Elizabeth

What a pleasant way to learn all kinds of obscure and practical information! Love the flow, combination of guests, and random information. Narrator with soothing voice.

Every episode I learn so much that is very helpful and is presented in easy to follow.

This podcast got me through many long walks in 2024. Mike has a great approach and energy in all of his interviews, he asks Everyman questions with sophistication. I was rarely uninterested in any of his guests, which must be really hard to curate for a show that posts so frequently. The knowledge shared makes you feel empowered and curious. Thanks SySK!

This has been my favorite podcast for years. Mike is a fantastic host, the topics and talks are extremely interesting and captivating. Excellent podcast, look forward to it every week!

Overall this podcast is informative and interesting but the cannabis episode where the guest you interviewed corrected the misleading use of the word marijuana and yet you incorrectly kept referring to the substance. That is something you should have learned.

I really enjoy listening to your releases. This is what a curious mind needs to pursue on a daily basis.

I’ve learned so many things on here! Thank you for pursuing such topics. I’ve also gotten ideas of books I can get from the library for further reading. I’m a disabled 65 year old and love the stimulation on so many levels!

I love walking with your often updated podcasts. The guests provide information from their research or books that isn’t just “liberal” or mainstream news popular opinion.

I listen to something you should know because there are interesting guests and helpful information from the host. There is something in every episode that I either did not know before or that expands my knowledge of it. And, Mike, I am still hooked on listening to Something You Should Know!
