03 Caloroga Shark Media. Hello and welcome through Pallace Intrigue. I'm host Mark Francis. Meghan Markles's latest Netflix venture with Love Meghan, is set to premiere today, marking a new chapter in her post royal career. The series promises to blend lifestyle content with heartfelt conversation, offering an intimate look at Meghan's approach to cooking, gardening, and entertaining. Described by Netflix as reimagining the genre of lifestyle programming, the show will feature Meghan sharing personal tips, engaging in candid discussions with friends, and demonstrating how to create beauty in everyday moments. The Duchess will host guests in the kitchen, garden, and beyond, rolling up her sleeves for a hands on experience. The teaser revealed a star studded lineup, including Mindy Kailig, who praised Meghan's cooking skills and described her visit to Montecito as perfect. Daniel Martin, Meghangan's longtime makeup artist, Abigail Spencer, her close friend and format Suits co star, Roy Choi, a renowned chef, and Alice Waters, a pioneer in the farm to table movement. The series consists of eight episodes, promising a mix of entertainment, lifestyle inspiration, and Meghan's signature approach to hospitality. Megan appears to be switching away from privacy mode when it comes to the children. As we eagerly await her new series, The Duchess of Sussex offered a rare glimpse into her family life, sharing a heartwarming video of Princess Lilibet playing a board game with none
34 other than tennis icon Serena Williams. The clip, posted to Megan's Instagram story on Sunday features the three year old enjoying a game with her auntie Serena set to the smooth soundtrack of Bill Withers's Lovely Day. Meghan captioned the moment when the Aunties come to celebrate and to play love You at Serena Williams. Branding expert Doug Eldridge tells Fox News Digital Hollywood is a town based on temperature, not talent. If the show is a success, this could be the moment of truth. If the show is a modest success, Megan will return to relevancy in Tinseltown and the influencer opportunities will multiply. The problem with the influencer or reality television category is that it's often more fashion than style. Fashion changes with the season or trend, styles enduring personal and doesn't fall victim to seasonal whims. Hopefully Megan could put her personal style and stamp on this and in doing so creates some foundational scaffolding to rebuild her life and career. And to her credit, Megan has never given up lost after loss, She's stayed in the fight.
35 Royal commentator Christopher Anderson commented, Meghan is coming under a lot of criticism from the British press for doing a reality show when the Sussexes adamantly said they wouldn't, but that really is unfair. What they meant was they weren't going to do anything like a Housewives of Montecito. Her new Netflix series is all about cooking, gardening, and home decorating with a little celebrity stardust sprinkled on top when her famous neighbors drop in. No whining, no crusading, just lifestyle advice delivered against a gorgeous backdrop. If she's smart, Meghan will borrow a page from Julia Child and add a dash of humor. And humility. Nothing is more disarming than a little self deprecation. As for critics who say people are struggling to buy groceries and don't want to see rich people canning their own preserves or arranging flowers, I think they're dead wrong. During the Great Depression of the nineteen thirties, people flocked to theaters to see the lives of the rich portrayed on screen. They couldn't get enough of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers gliding through a marble floored penthouse apartment. He explained, it was an escape from reality back then. If she plays her cards right, Meghan might well have a hit on her hands. However, royal expert Richard fitz Williams is skeptical, arguing that Meghan's show may struggle to resonate. Judging from the trailer, Meghan's offering is a schmaltzy, supine garishly colored attempt to mimic the success of influences such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Martha Stewart.
56 It might appeal to easily pleased lovies in ordinary times these are anything. But I think one thing has become pretty clear. We have simultaneously got the launch as Ever, and some of the products Megan cells will be stocked by Netflix in their new shopping malls. Netflix has an interest in as ever, and that the eight part series will cause interest. All the indications are that a deal of some sort will be renewed when the contract expires. It's almost certainly will not be on the terms that were originally in Greed. Netflix is obviously hoping there will be a positive response to the eight part series. Royal commentator Jenny Bond was somewhat positive Telling the Mirror. First of all, there's very little in the media world that is original, and secondly, she started out as an influencer and a very successful one, so it makes perfect sense for her to return to one of her strengths. I think the Netflix publicity is rather to blame, suggesting that this is something new when the idea of cooking and chatting with friends and celebrity guests has been around for years.
53 But there's nothing wrong in Megan giving her own take on a well used format. Royal author Robert Jobson does not seem excited about the show of Telling the Sun. I mean, it's just like an advert for weight Rose or something. It doesn't do anything for me. It seems that everyone wants her to fail. But it would actually be a quite good story if it was a success. But I'm not overly inspired by it. It's not exactly going to be something I'm going to be wanting to tune into unless it was a professional thing to do. It's just a little dull. Jobs in question whether the new show would be a success, saying that the Sussex couple had previously acquired big numbers with their Royal Bashing books and their Royal Bashing documentaries. He said, now they're trying to do something. I suppose that they tell us it's all positive, and that just doesn't seem particularly inspiring to me. They express quoted a source who may have insight into Netflix's internal workings. The source said there's a feeling that Netflix hasn't got great value for money from the Sussexes because they were buying exclusivity, but then the couple appeared in other places like their podcasts, and because their popularity has nose dived, this might be a way to milk some value out of them. They also quote one company insider as saying the word bandied about internally is nightmare advanced screeners for Meghan show were not made available by Netflix. More Palace in just a moment, Meghan's cooking show is even overshadowing the opening days of World War III. King Charles welcomed the Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to Sandringham on Sunday, following a high stakes European summit on Ukraine's defense. The Ukrainian leader arrived at the King's
26 Norfolk residence by helicopter, met with a warm reception from local residents, some waving Ukrainian flags in solidarity. Royal sources confirmed that the meeting lasted just under an hour, during which the King and President Zelensky were served tea in the saloon of Sandringham House. The Ukrainian leader described the engagement as a very good meeting, expressing gratitude for the King's continued support of Ukraine. I'm very grateful for this meeting and how his majesty helps Ukraine and supports us. Zelensky told reporters he's met out warriors here being trained in the UK, and we're very thankful to the Royal family for their support. King Charles has consistently voiced his backing for Ukraine, previously condemning Russia's unprovoked attack and praising the Ukrainian people for their truly remarkable courage and resilience.
09 The two leaders first met in twenty twenty three at Buckingham Palace, coinciding with a king's visit to Ukrainian troops undergoing training in Wiltshire. The meeting, which was arranged at Selenski's request with the agreement of the UK government, comes at a pivotal moment in international diplomacy. Prime Minister Sir Kia Stamer has announced a four step plan aimed at securing peace in Ukraine, including sustained military aid and a formation of a coalition of the willing to bolster Ukraine's defenses. The former US President's anticipated visit has not been without controversy. SMP First Minister John Swinney has called for the invitation to be rescinded following Trump's tense Oval Office meeting with Selensky, during which he accused the Ukrainian leader of gambling with World War III. However, Sakya dismissed the cause, emphasizing the significance of maintaining diplomatic ties. On Monday, the King welcomed Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to Sandringham, appearing in high spirits as he shared a warm exchange with the Canadian leader, who were photographed in the saloon of Sandringham House, seated in patent armchairs, with a grand wooden desk, a floral arrangement and family portraits providing the backdrop to their meeting.
18 Despite the mounting geopolitical tensions, the King and mister Trudeau appeared at ease, with the Canadian Prime Minister even clasping the King's hand in both of his a gesture underscoring their familiar rapport. The meeting was private, but mister Trudeau had already signaled his intention to raise concerns over comments made by Donald Trump regarding Canada's sovereignty. Trump has previously suggested that Canada would become the fifty first state of the United States, claiming that without US economic support, it ceases to exist as a viable country. The King has so far remained silent on the matter, a position that has drawn some criticism. However, Charles continues to be seen as a stabilizing figure on the world stage, using the royal family's so called soft power diplomacy amid ongoing political upheaval.
00 As international relations grow increasingly complex, the kings back to back meetings with world leaders reinforce his role as a unifying presence, balancing tradition with modern geopolitical realities.
