00 A Calorougus Shark Media. Hello and welcome to Palace Intrigue. I'm your host, Mark Francis. According to entertainment columnist Rob Shooter's substack, Megan Michael was eager to attend Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey's wedding, but ultimately did not receive an invitation. One entertainment source quoted in the report claimed everyone wanted in actors, musicians, billionaires, TV stars. People were calling favors and working every connection they had. Getting invited became a status symbol. Megan wanted to be there, but Taylor and Travis weren't inviting people for headlines. They invited the people they genuinely wanted to celebrate with. The same report suggested that Princess of Wales and Prince William did receive invitations, although they reportedly chose not to attend. One inside, he claimed Taylor has a real relationship with William. She and Travis really enjoyed spending time with William and Kate. That's where the connection is. Another source compared the other vent to Harry and Meghan's twenty eighteen royal wedding, saying it had that Harry and Meghan Fuel. There were real friends there, of course, but there was also a lot of famous, important people who had no real connection to Taylor or Travis.

12 The guest list became its own spectacle for the eyepaper. Harry Mount suggests the royal family are in their East Enders era mount Wrights. Just like in the soap opera, every little move by Prince Harry or Andrew mount Batten windsor causes sensationalist chaos. Both have a magnetic attraction to foot in mouth disasters. Any decent exile would quit the family, or the country or the soap opera and go and live in peace and quiet. But Harry and Andrew have strikingly obvious differences aside a similar combination of self regard, wounded pride, rampant ego media and shortage of gray cells. They mean they go on courting catastrophe. At least Andrew doesn't have a multimillion dollar relationship with the media, But Harry has a huge incentive to light the touch paper and stand by while the fireworks go off. How he would have loved to announce a win in its catastrophic case against Associated Newspapers in the fore Court of Buckingham Palace.

05 Hell hath no fury like a prince scorned. More media coverage means more deals for the Sussexes from TV companies, and more free promotion from the paletts of Meghan's as ever raspberry jam filling up American warehouses. Part of the endless to and froing over the Buckingham Palace stay was apparently his worry about the entrance and exit points to the palace where his children might be spotted through a car window. My god, the crazed spoiltness. Those are the entrances through which Harry has passed through countless times with no incident, as have the king, the late Elizabeth II, and monarchs going all the way back to George the Third, who bought the palace in seventeen sixty one. Not to forget hundreds of pop stars, American presidents, and world leaders, but Harry and Meghan are always special cases. In two hundred and fifty years, it must be their egomaniacal royal highnesses who are most threat In fact, by kicking up such a fuss about his accommodation and security, Harry has made his presence that much more obvious to baddies that if it kept quiet and just accept the original offer of a room in the most famous palace on the planet.

05 Royal editor Emily Andrews says Queen Camilla is in no hurry to welcome the Sussexes back into the royal fold. According to the report, the Queen once joked over my dead body when the idea of Harry and Meghan staying with the King and Queen at Sandringham, where bow Morel was raised. Andrew says those close to the situation believed the comment reflected her genuine feelings, even if it was made jokingly. One friend told Andrews the Queen is always appreciated how hard it has been for William and Harry after the death of their mother. She never sought to take her place, and she has always tried to remain sensitive. But she has kept her counsel despite the many slings and arrows of public acrimony, to protect the monarchy. So she found meglan Harry's public rejection and criticism, which caused so much damage, unforgivable. According to a new idea, Anne is unhappy that hopes of King Charles seeing Prince Archie and Princess Lilabet during this trip have once again been disappointed.

56 A source quoted by the publication claimed Anne is livid, can't bear to see the royals be toyed with like this, not to mention the insult to their beloved country more Palace in just a moment. Buckingham Palace is ready to welcome thousands of visitors this summer, except Harry, after unveiling a major transformation inside one of its most famous galleries. The Picture Gallery has been completely reimagined ahead of the annual summer opening, with the Royal Collection nearly doubling the number of artworks on display in what has been described as a once in the generation redisplay. The exhibition is open to the public through September twenty seventh, giving visitors a chance to two of the state rooms while the King is away from the palace. The redesign was no small undertaking. Royal Collection staff spent approximately eight hundred and seventy five hours rehanging the gallery, adding sixty three additional works of art and dramatically increasing the number of masterpieces on display. One of the most noticeable changes is the room itself. The pink velvet wall coverings that have been in place since nineteen seventy six have been replaced with emerald green silk damask, creating a very different backdrop for the paintings. Meghan Mikles's former husband, television producer Trevor Englson, made a rare public appearance at Wimbledon. Angelson, who was married to Meghan from twenty eleven to their divorce in twenty fourteen, was reportedly seen at the All England Club with his wife, Tracy Curland, whom he married in twenty nineteen.

22 The sighting was noted by The Daily Mail Diary editor Richard Eden, who wrote, I wondered if the Princess of Wale was bumped into Meghan Michael's husband during her visit to Wimbledon. I'm not referring to Prince Harry, but to Meghan's first husband, Trevor Englson, who beat him to it. He also contrasted Anglson's approach to publicity with that of the Duke of Sussex, writing, while Harry has broken confidences in his tawdry memoir Spare Discreet, Trevor has turned down numerous lucrative offers to speak about his ill fated three year marriage to Megan. Meghan and Angelson began dating in two thousand and four before marrying in Jamaica in twenty eleven. They separated two years later, with their divorce finalized in twenty fourteen, citing a reconcilable differences. Reports at the time suggested that the long distance nature of their relationship while Megan was filming suits in Toronto and Engleson was based in la contributed to the marriage ending. Kate made an appearance in Wimbledon's popular Overheard at Wimbledon video series as part of Operation Stopped Talking About Harry. The lighthearted feature captured Keith chatting with former British tennis player Tim Henman and All England Club chair Debbie Jevons during last week's Championships.

30 Speaking during a conversation with former British tennis star Tim Henman at Wimbledon, and Catherine reflected on completing the challenge of climbing ben Nevis scafful Piken Snowdon within twenty four hours in support of the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, where she received treatment in twenty twenty four. The weather was atrocious, she told Henman, I mean everybody got soaked through, but it was very sort of stoicly British thing to do. You know, you're soaking wet and everyone's going, come on, we can do it. And asked how she had prepared for the challenge, and Catherine explained that the journey was about more than simply reaching each summit. I did it in twenty four hours. Yeah, that was the challenge anyway, I think, But I think part of the journey was trying to enjoy the process, like the training beforehand, but also making time during the walk to meet people and enjoy the journey rather than just actually just quickly getting to the top. Asked why she chose to take on the challenge, the princess said raising money for Royal Marsden Cancer Charity had kept them motivated. Yes, it was for the charity. I've just been so blown away by all the donations and all things. Everyone's been so generous. That's what keeps you going. It's when you know you're doing it for a good cause, keeps you going through the hard times. Admiring the immaculate playing surface, the princess remarked, the court is so pristine. She then jokingly asked Jevons whether she now selected the voice used for the line calls around the grounds. Do you choose the voice for the cause now, Kate asked. GEVs laughed and replied, it's way above my pay grade. There you have it. If you'd like to email us our addresses the Palace Intry you get gmail dot com.
