Prince Harry Reportedly Ready to Quit Hollywood (again) as Meghan Pushes Forward

He's over it. But Megan is nowhere ready to quit. In her eyes, this is just a setback, a devastating one for sure, but it's not the end of the world. She's dusting herself off and coming up with a game plan to forge your head. If Harry doesn't want to push through, she won't force him. If anything, she seems to relieved to be doing this solo. He can focus on the Invictus Games and building that up, and she can focus on Hollywood.

Trying to drag Harry along and force him into that world does not appeal to her. She'd rather he does his own thing, and there's really no need for help to be involved. The same goes for her brand. It's her baby. She's the one that puts in the hours and has this huge vision for it. The last thing she wants is to feel she's dragging Harry along against his will, and industry inside has said, I don't know how long this new Netflix deal is for, but if they don't have anything to show soon, I can't imagine it will be renewed. Despite the speculation, those close to Meghan say she remains determined to push ahead. One source said Meghan is extremely proud, so of course it's upsetting for her that people are trying to write or offers failure, but she's adamant it's not true. She says, the whole situation is being blown way out of proportion. In her view, it's the same old story. People just love to find fault with her.

1:41 There's no denying that the situation isn't ideal, but the way she tells it is, the relationship with Netflix is far from over. Regardless of how bad it is or isn't, Meghan's determined to keep pushing forward. According to sources, Harry has found the pressures of Hollywood frustrating, and he doesn't mind Meghan's solo appearances. One inside has said, no doubt, Harry is relieved to be off the hook. He's always been very open about the fact that this whole entertainment world is always more Megan's thing than his. He gave it a try because he wanted to support her, and because they both believe they could use these platforms to tell meaningful stories, but the process has been frustrating and exhausting for him. Harry feels much more comfortable focusing on Invictus and his charitable work, which is where he believes he can actually make a difference. But if Harry wants to step back and concentrate on philanthropy, she's fine with that.

A lot of people think it might actually be good for their marriage to have more autonomy with their work. Royal commentators have mocked Megan Mikel's planned appearance at a luxury women's retreat in Australia, comparing the event to the Duchess of Sussex setting of a fan booth at Comic Con. Speaking on the Palace Confidential podcast, The Daily Mail's Royal editor Rebecca English said when they left the Royal family, they were trumpeting one hundred million pound deals, and now it's kind of seventeen hundred pounds for a group photograph with them. They're now basically doing kind of pay per meat and photograph events. Diary editor Richard Eden said it kind of conjures images for me of kind of fan conventions. Host Joel and then joke that sounded like a comic book convention.

Seems like quite a come down from the royal life she and Harry anticipated on that sunny May day, and has drawn comparisons with Fergie from royal sources, not exactly a compliment. She then argued that the couple's most lucrative asset may still be their willingness to speak publicly about the Royal family. Platel wrote, I fear that without those millions, they may get desperate and be tempted. Former royal butler Grant Harold tells the Express the Royal family as a rule to not do Q and A sessions, and in fact they have never really done them, at least not in any way that I can recall in recent times.

Even though she is a non working member of the royal family, she is still a member of the family. In a Q and A you simply cannot control what might come up. There could be questions about Prince Andrew, they will be questions about the royal family more broadly, or there could be questions about relationships within the family. When or if those questions arise, it can become very difficult to navigate them carefully without creating tension. Harold added that the absence of any formal palace oversight could add to the uncertainty. He said, they will be aware that there is no formal process in place to prepare or guide her response in advance, and without that kind of oversight, it can end up being entirely whatever she chooses to say in the moment more Palace entry moment. However, sources close to the royal household so the idea of reviving the series to cover the Andrew scandal has caused deep frustration for Prince William. One palisade said, William is absolutely raging at the idea of The Crown coming back to cover the Andrew Windsor scandal. The family already felt the series pushed boundaries before, so that the thought of it returning to dramatize this particular episode is deeply unwelcome. Another insider adds, from William's perspective, revisiting the Andrew Windsor scandal in a new The Crown storyline would drag the whole issue back into the global spotlight yet again as he fights to rebuild its brand ahead of taking the throne. Despite those concerns, television producers say the controversy contains the elements that typically attract large audiences.

The source added, for producers looking for a narrative with built in global interests, the Royal family has always been a powerful subject. When controversy enters the picture, the potential audience becomes even larger. Media analysts also point out that The Crown remains one of the most recognizable television brands associated with the British monarchy. One analyst said, although the original run of The Crown has wrapped up, the brand itself still carries tremendous recognition around the world. For viewers, the title has become almost synonymous with high end television storytelling about the British royal family.
