So what happened last week in Royal news? Well, the new season of With Love Megan was out on Netflix. In The Times, Kevin Mayer writes, if God does love a trier, and provided that he's on the right streaming package, the Great Ward Almighty, like every seemingly star strug guest on With Love Meghan must deeply adore the Duchess of Sussex.

It was a slightly strange show, somewhere between a Stepford wife's fever dream and an infernal version of celebrity Stockholm syndrome, where ostensibly trapped z listers blazed out badly scripted lines that included compulsory phrases such as that's one of my favorite things about you, Megan, while chowing down on sticky doughnuts that seem to be covered in torn clumps of couch grass and Japanese not weed.

1:42 For The Daily Mail, Liz Jones writes, what did we learn from all eight episodes of season two with Love Megan? Megan ate lots of dates while pregnant. She has boxes of mac and cheese in her freezer. Harry hates cinnamon and lobster, and yet she still married him. She loves the McDonald drive through apple pie and is triggered by a sink full of dirty dishes. She repeats the phrase so sweet often and seems warm with the crew I adore to the day drinking. There is nowhere she goes without a cup of champagne. So here, at last is the chink in her armor? Who wouldn't resort to alcohol given the headlines the hate. She alludes to the rumors and trolling obliquely, even referring to an old cannard that she'd had as a child pre Harry. If ad have kept a secret like that, that would have been impressive.

2:32 Does Harry appear only in framed photographs, though we do see a baseball cab she made for him to mark his fortieth. He's like a ginger ghost, however, haunting every scene. If the reviews for season two of Megan's new show are any indication, it may be remembered more for her lavender latties and flower sprinkles than for any meaningful content. Critics across the British press have wasted no time tearing into the show, calling it everything from Narcissus to a TV program about watching glue dry. The Daily Mail's Liz Jones called the series staged, fake and dull, but did offer a surprising compliment she seems genuinely earnest. It really is not an act. Jones described the show as televisual valion, as soothing as warm chie on a windswept beach. The Guardian's Lucy Mengan less generous gave the show two stars, calling it boring, contrived and effortfully whimsical. She jokes that if viewers stand still in Meghan's kitchen too long, they'll be covered in violets and served alongside her mug of gray foam to a nano celebrity who realizes he hasn't been paid enough. Celebrity chef Jameson Stocks, who has previously cooked for King Charles, isn't holding back on his views about Megan Michael's Netflix series With Love Megan. I think Megan Michael needs Netflix more than Netflix needs her, he told The Daily Express, adding bluntly, she's becoming a bit of a liability. To be honest with you, they don't really know what to do with her. Maybe an actual chat show would better suited the audience. Figures prove that

Featured a gleeful Harry riding the high performance wave before triumphantly throwing his hands in the air. The headlines were dominated not by speech or by scandal, but by the Princess of Wales's hair. Catherine arrived with locks that appeared noticeably blonder than usual, a striking change that immediately drew attention. Others observed that Kate and her husband barely do any work.

Americans are enjoying a holiday weekend, a great time to hit the beach or perhaps binge watch their favorite cooking show on Netflix. When most people pack for a weekend away, they grab a change of clothes and a toothbrush. King Charles, however, takes a rather different approach, one that includes his own bed, toilet seat, and an entire truck of home comforts. According to royal biographer Tom Bauer, during a visit to friends in the north of England, Charles sent a truck ahead carrying not just a few favorite items, but the entirety of his and Queen Camilla's bedroom sat up, complete with orthopedic mattress, personal linens, and handpicked decorp including two Scottish landscape paintings.

A new memohile by former Royal butler Grant Harold is stirring headlines and reportedly ruffling feathers within the Sussex camp. Harold, who served for years as a valet to then Prince Charles, Queen Camilla and Princess William and Harry, has released The Royal Butler, a behind the scenes look at royal life that offers a notably glowing portrayal of the king. But one detail in particular has caught attention. Harold's insistence that William and Harry were happy about charles marriage to Camilla, directly contradicting Harry's own account in his memoir Spare the four of Them.

In Slate, Emmajeen West Knights writes about Andrew Lowley's book about Prince Andrew, saying, name an undesirable trait a person might have, and this book will demonstrate Andrew having it. He is supposedly, in addition to being a sex offender, cruel, is enraged, stupid, boring, naive, attention seeking, unfunny, childish, arrogant, and out of touch, as well as a misogynist, a lion, a thief, a bully, a pervert, a bad lover, a bad husband, a bad father, a brat as a child, a brat as a teenager, and a brat as an adult.

10:16 Just when you're thinking that surely every possible slight has been leveled at the Prince and that there can surely be no greater depth to which your opinion of him can sink, Lowley relates that Stafford Buckingham Palace used to have to clear away collections of soil tissues in his bedroom when he hear more on that story. Sykes writes, there is too much about the death of Diana to blithely accept the official line that it was just an accident at the risk of being branded a Diana truther or conspiracy theorist. Rebecca Morgan, the Mint's Director of Commemorative Coin, said, as we release more of the King Charles the Third one pound coins into circulation alongside the final coins of Queen Elizabeth, I we're witnessing the physical representation of our monarchy's transition. She added that discovering one in your change could spark a rewarding hobby for collectors.
