Well, got to keep things interesting, right, And what's interesting this week is how much these everyday events are shaping the royals public image. Like is that a coincidence or is there something more strategic going on? Right? You have to wonder. It's actually a pretty clever approach when you think about it, like using these seemingly insignificant events to say something bigger, you know, about who they are. It's subtle but powerful.

Well, in this corner we've got Princess Kate super down to earth, sharing her homemade plum jam recipe at a garden. Such a Kate move, Love it. And then you've got Megan on the other side launching her new lifestyle brand, you know as Ever, and it includes this really high end artisanal jam that's well definitely. Not cheap, not exactly budget friendly and of. Course everyone's comparing them. Charles Ray, that royal commentator, was on gb News and actually suggested that Case's recipe sharing was strategic, like a subtle way to point out the difference between her and Megan.

It's kind of funny though, right, I mean, it's jam, but I guess in the world of royalty everything gets magnified exactly. Like Ray even mentioned that King Charles at his high grow shop sells Jam two and it's way more affordable than Megan's. So now Charles is in the jam war too. Well, it's more like he got dragged in. Yeah, but it raises this question, are we reading too much into this or do the Royals really think about every little thing they do, even jam? You've got to think about it. I mean, there's this whole history of using everyday activities to create a certain image. Like remember Queen Elizabeth and her Corgi's. They were more than just pets. They were this symbol of her connection to the.

It's called and it's supposed to be this reimagined lifestyle show, like Megan sharing all her tips on everything. Everything, cooking, gardening. We're calling it a blend of lifestyle content and personal insights, right. And she's got this crazy impressive guest list, Mindy Kayling, Daniel Martin, Alice Waters.

Though, absolutely eight episodes of Megan doing her thing on Netflix sign me up. Right, But not everyone is thrilled about it. There's been some debate about those pictures of Lillabet that were released, and you know, is he just cute family stuff or is it all part of building brand Megan. Ah, that's a good question. So what did our sources say. Well, Royal expert Duncan Larcom was in Okay magazine and he basically said, there's a conflict there, like Harry has always wanted privacy, but Megan is, you know, more comfortable in.

4:33 The spotlight and the kids are stuck in the middle. It makes you think about how they'll handle it all as the kids get. Older, exactly. And you know what makes it even more complicated? What's that? Well, the timing of Megan's behind the scenes video for her show. It came out at basically the same time as Princess Kate's first public appearance after her cancer diagnosis. Oh wow, yeah, I remember that. That timing was interesting. Interesting is one word for it. Some people are saying Megan was trying to over shadow Kate, like steal her thunder. Basically, oooh that's juicy. The princess versus the duchess narrative strikes again. It never goes away, does it. Yeah, but it's interesting. Wow, strong words, but I did see some fans online saying that Kate william are kind of beyond being overshattered at this point. It's tough though, you know, because there's this balance. They're real people with real lives, but they're also playing this role on this huge global stage.

Oh yeah, that would be a statement for sure. A big one. So what are the experts saying about this potential solo appearance? Is it a good look a bad look? Well, it depends on who you ask. Rebecca May she's a PR expert, and she talked to the mail. She actually thinks it could be a real power move for Meghan. Like I don't need Harry, I can do this myself exactly. It's a way to command all the attention on her own, you know, no Harry, no Royal family, just Megan, and she could totally use that spotlight to boost her own projects. Smart But I remember the podcast had a bit of a different take on this. They weren't so sure it was a good idea.

6:47 Yeah, they brought up a good point like what will people think about Harry? Right? Is this a sign of trouble and teradise? Exactly? Those rumors already out there and going solo to such a huge event, well, is just going to add fuel to the fire. It's a gamble, that's for sure. Hard to predict how it would play out, but you know it's not a damble. The cuteness of a new puppy, which brings us to Queen Camilla and her new rescue pup, Molly. Oh. Yes, everyone loves a Royal puppy and it seems like Camilla just can't resist those rescue pups. He can't This little guy Molly is eight weeks old. And get this, he's a rescue of indeterminate breed. We don't even know what kind of dog he is. This just makes him even more adorable. I know. And she got him from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home. She's been a patron there for years, so she really walks the walk. But she actually revealed the adoption during a visit to Canterbury. And you know, Camilla, she's got that sense of humor. She said, he looks just like a Molly.

7:41 Oh, that's fantastic. Yeah, she just seems so genuine, you know, and this just adds to that. It's like, sure, she's the Queen, but she's also just a person who loves dogs exactly. And it fits right in with that whole Royal tradition of dog lovers. I mean King Charles, right, he's obsessed with Jack Russell's. There was Tiga and then that whole mystery about what happened to Pooh and obviously Queen Elizabeth and her Corgi's they were iconic. Right. It's almost like this symbol this connection between generations of the royal family. Yeah, a love of dogs. It's sweet. Yeah, and it does make them seem more like. First Beth and Bluebell, those Jack Russells, now little Motley, and I loved that little story from her Canterbury like she actually joked that he looks just like a mole. Oh, I didn't hear that. It's so great. It's like, yeah, she's the Queen, but she also just loves her dogs and can make a little joke about it totally. And it's funny because it puts her in this long line of royal dog lovers. King Charles obsessed with Jack Russell's, We had Tiga and then of course the great mystery of what happened to Pooh? And we can't forget Queen Elizabeth.
