Questions are continuing to swirl around Meghan Markel's latest business venture, with reports suggesting the Duchess of Sussex may be earning commissions from outfits she has worn to the Invictor's games. According to reports, Megan has been promoting clothing featured during her Invictor's appearances through one Off, an AI powered fashion platform in which she is said to hold an investment. It is understood she receives a percentage of sales generated through the platform.

The last thing he needs is even a whiff of impropriety at such a sensitive time. Harry would hate the idea of the conversation becoming about Meghan's wardrobe or social media strategy. She said at Peter Phillips's wedding, it was clear that Eugenie and Beatrice were there as members of the family. Prince William greeted both women and their husbands warmly. They were very much welcome and part of the family. However, Andrews also said there has been some suggestion from William's camp at Kensington Palace that he wants to draw more of a clear distinction between the York family and working royals. I think the princesses will potentially become collateral damage and how William wants to reshape the monarchy to make it very clear who are the working royals funded by the British taxpayer and who are not and have to pay their own way. A new poll suggests support for the monarchy has fallen to its lowest level in more than three decades, with the sharpest decline coming among younger Britons. The survey, conducted by IPSOS, found that fifty five percent of the public now support Britain remaining a monarchy. That represents a drop of eleven percentage points in the past three years and marks the lowest level recorded by IPSOS since it began tracking attitudes towards the royal family more than thirty years ago. Six and ten respondents said King Charles is doing a good job, while seventy one percent said the same of William. The most significant change appears among younger generations. Among people aged eighteen to thirty four, support for the monarchy now stands at just thirty three percent.

To turn this trend around will require convincing young people, in particular that the monarchy still has an important, relevant role to play in the future of the country. Headlines reported on William's secret outings, but the truth is final less intriguing than the headline would have you believe. The secret outings involve regular visits to the vast Duchy of Cornwall, estate he inherited from his father. According to reports, William makes regular private visits to the estate, often traveling without Catherine or the children, and without any public announcement. The Telegraph reported that William tries to visit part of the duchy once every four to six weeks, working its way through its farms and officers, to meet families and staff, shake hands and quiz them on what he can do to help. His visits are usually private, rarely making the court circular, and kept quiet by loyal locals who are used to royal comings and goings. Perhaps we can find controversy in this story. Is Harriet Phillips copying Kate's fashion? The discussion gained momentum after a Royal fashion account shared signed by side images comparing several of Harriet's recent outfits with looks worn by the Princess of Wales at previous engagements. On comparison focus on a pale blue ascot ensemble worn by Harriet that some believe echoed one of Catherine's best known powder blue looks. Another highlighted similarities between lace stresses featuring high necklines and classic detailing.

Meanwhile, a royal commentator has suggested that the Royal family's newest high profile couple could be attracting the kind of public attention once associated with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Writing for The Express, commentator Chris Richards argues that the royal family now has a number of relatives who, while not officially working royals, help strengthen the institution's public image. Riches points to Zara and Mike Tindall as examples, writing already we've seen Zara and Mike Tindall up to and seemingly keen to take on roles that come close to working royal status, especially when it comes to sporting and a Questrian of duties representing the firm. Riches also praised the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, writing the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh have also proved a safe and steady set of hands as actual working royals and have the complete confidence not only of King Charles but also Prince William and Princess Catherine. But now we have a new couple on the scene who bring that extra pizazz of being newlyweds as well as next Janet royals and the fairy tale Princess Disney feel too much, I'm sure to Megan's ayre and this female fairy tale holds a UK trump card that Megan just can't match. She's a pediatric nurse who works for the NHS. That's a pr trump card you simply cannot beat. Whether the newlyweds ultimately take on a larger public role remains to be seen. But as we have mentioned before, future King William is going to be in need of working royals.
