Meghan’s Hollywood Future Gets Brutal Answer as Her Alleged NDA Demand Raises Eyebrows

Ari Emanuel has delivered a remarkably blunt answer about Meghan Markle’s Hollywood future following the end of her relationship with William Morris Endeavor. Asked about Meghan by The Sunday Times, Emanuel replied, “Here’s the great thing: I don’t have to think about that anymore.” Meghan signed with WME in 2023, but the agency stopped representing her in 2025.
Meanwhile, Meghan is sharing new hosting advice through As Ever, while a separate report claims she wants guests to sign confidentiality agreements before certain dinners where private family or royal matters could be discussed. That NDA claim comes from unnamed sources in Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice Substack.

Photographs of Archie and Lilibet have also reportedly appeared in an Architectural Digest feature on Gloria Steinem’s Manhattan home, including an image of Steinem with Archie and a Sussex family Christmas card.

Plus, a branding expert estimates that Prince Harry could command as much as one million dollars for an exclusive appearance, while commentator Angela Levin has some very strong opinions about Harry and Meghan remaining in Britain.

And away from the Sussexes, Prince Edward is visiting the United States and Canada, while Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, is winning praise after carrying on with a royal tour of Zambia despite her luggage failing to arrive.

Questions this episode answers: What did Ari Emanuel say about Meghan Markle? Why did WME stop representing Meghan? Does Meghan Markle require NDAs at private dinners? Were new photographs of Archie and Lilibet revealed? How much could Prince Harry earn for a speaking appearance? What is Prince Edward doing in America? And what happened to Sophie’s luggage during her royal tour?

0:03 Caloroga Shark Media. Hello and welcome to Palace Intrigue. I am your host, Mark Francis. Megan's latest hosting advice is to have almost everything ready before guests arrive, but leave yourself one small job in the kitchen. An Instagram post from As Ever titled Megan's Hosting Notes recommends having as much prepped as possible while saving a simple task for the end. Something you can finish in the kitchen while everyone settles in, the post explains. A little preparation goes a long way toward making hosting feel effortless. The advice appeared alongside a photograph of Megan tying a white apron around her waist. Ari Emanuel has given a blunt response when asked about Megan's future in Hollywood, following the end of her relationship with his agency. Here's the great thing.

0:56 I don't have to think about that anymore, he told the Sunday Times. Emanuel confirmed in 2025 that William Morris Endeavour had stopped representing Meghan. She signed with WME in April 23. Page Six reported that Meghan had not met with Emmanuel since January of 24 and was dealing mainly with other agency staff. Its unnamed sources alleged a disagreement after she requested an urgent strategy meeting and expected decks and plans. One industry source claimed Ari was done with her. Photographs of Archie and Lilibet have reportedly been spotted in an Architectural Digest feature about Gloria Steinem's Manhattan home. Reports say the interior photographs include a picture of Steinem with Archie, as well as a Sussex family Christmas card. It is believed the photograph featuring Archie had previously appeared with his face blurred in material shared by Megan. In the version we saw, all the faces were visible. Megan reportedly wants confidentiality agreements in place before attending dinners where private family or royal matters might be discussed. Rob Shooter's Naughty But Nice substack, which tends to be gossipy, shares this from an unnamed source. Megan is deadly serious. If there's any chance private or royal matters will be discussed, she wants an NDA in place before she even says yes. No signature, no Megan. Shooter warned that such a request could go down like a lead balloon. with this report suggesting British friends might find it uncomfortable. People want a glass of

2:28 wine and a laugh, not a contract. An unnamed source described Meghan's alleged position this way. What happens around her dinner table stays there. She's not taking chances anymore. Harry needs old friends around him. Start handing those friends NDAs before dinner and they will decide to eat somewhere else. Royal commentator Angela Levin seems to want Harry and Meghan to move back to California. Levin, speaking about the security issue, told Talk TV, It's blackmail, isn't it? That's what I think of the two of them now. If you don't give them exactly what they want, when they want, I think it's a blackmail thing. If they do go back, I'd be delighted. They are real nuances and extremely unpleasant here in the UK. Why should we pay them money for everything they're doing? They're not doing anything for us.

3:13 She has a lot more freedom in California, too. She can jump in the car to go shopping or meet someone for lunch without thinking too much about it. whereas she's much more nervous about being out in public in England, so there's a real sense of isolation. A branding expert tells Page Six that an exclusive appearance by Harry could command close to a million dollars. Eric Schiffer, chairman of Reputation Management Consultants, tells Page Six, Harry's royal tighter and persona can still do damage to an event budget. For a keynote, he's getting anywhere from $ 250, 000 to $ 750, 000. and for elite, exclusive events close to one million. But not every one of these stops as a cash grab with hidden checks. A lot of his microphone is largely going to be unpaid, but he's getting the attention. And that keeps him in the spotlight and further bookable for other things.

4:03 He also offered his interpretation of Harry's broader approach, suggesting the Duke may be putting greater emphasis on charitable work as he seeks to improve relationships with King Charles and strengthen his and Meghan's public image in America. Most of this is legit charity, so his total take is peanuts compared to moves he has done in the past, Schiffer said. More Palace in just a moment. Prince Edward is visiting the United States and Canada on a five-day trip focused on young people, opportunity and the arts. The Duke of Edinburgh, King Charles' youngest brother, is visiting New York, Baltimore and Washington before travelling to Toronto. Buckingham Palace says the program celebrates the relationship between Britain and the United States, with a particular focus on shared interests around youth empowerment and opportunity and the arts. No meeting with President Trump or visit to the White House is scheduled. Missing luggage did not stop Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, from getting on with her recent five-day visit to Zambia. According to the Daily Mail, Sophie continued her engagements in the clothes she had travelled in.

5:10 The trip focused on causes including poverty, sight loss, women's rights and education with Time Outdoors bringing encounters with elephants and a hippopotamus. Former Royal Aid Alyssa Anderson Cole said Sophie handled the luggage problem with humour. Typically steadfast and unwavering in her support of the charities close to her heart, she coped with the non-arrival of her luggage by laughing it off and carrying on with engagements in her travel gear. Who could not smile watching her unselfconsciously dance with local women who had been treated for serious eye conditions She is not afraid to show her fun side while promoting incredibly important issues like gender equality, education and nature. Once again, she has proved what a huge asset she is to the king and the monarchy. The Mail's royal editor, Rebecca English, says, Over the years, Sophie has quietly set about cultivating a group of charitable patronages that she feels strongly about and, as a result, her personal passion shines through. Sophie has also become an advocate for survivors of sexual violence and conflict.

6:11 English added, The issue of sexual violence is something she has learnt more about during the course of her official travels and has led her to become a passionate advocate against it on the world stage. I have seen her give a seven-minute off-the-cuff speech on the issue. Without any notes on the subject, she was seriously impressive. English compares Sophie's approach to Princess Anne's, describing the Duchess as the gold standard of royal duty, but she also acknowledges the difficulties Sophie and Edward faced when they tried to combine violence royal life with commercial careers. Obviously, there were some teething problems in the early days when she and Prince Edward were, rightly, publicly censured over their business activities, but they took the criticism on the chin, wound down their commercial careers, and devoted themselves to a lifetime of royal duties without a single complaint in public. English says Charles now regards his sister-in-law as someone he can depend on.

7:05 I know the King sees Sophie very much as a safe pair of hands in her growing closeness with the Princess of Wales, will only go to strengthen the family in the future. She also offered a lighter recollection of Sophie and Edward's marriage. She and Edward are actually very sweet together, although even I was surprised to hear her say, as they marked their 25th wedding anniversary, that she still fancied him in a uniform that definitely wasn't on my royal bingo chart.
