How ‘Unhappy’ is Prince Harry in California? Meghan Markle Marriage Claims Grow
New reports claim Prince Harry misses parts of his former life in Britain despite building a new life in California, while fresh tabloid reports allege growing strain between Harry and Meghan Markle. An opinion writer argues Harry’s recent private UK visit undermines his long-running security case, and new claims suggest Princess Catherine is urging Prince William to move beyond his ongoing feud with his younger brother.

00 Ah Calorougus Shark Media. Hello and welcome to Palace Intrigue. I am your host, Mark Francis Prince. Harry may have built a new life in California, but Dan Wakeford, founder of the pop culture newsletter Celebrity Intelligence, told Fox News Digital that sources believe Harry's life in America has not turned out quite as he expected. Wakeford said Harry particularly doesn't love the life he has in America. He misses his family, his friends, and his former existence in the UK. Sources say he would be content to downsize and have a smaller life instead of living on such a grand scale. But I think that is more Megan's style. Archwald dismissed the claims, telling Fox News Digital it's all unfounded speculation of which we don't comment. Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams said there was no reason to believe Harry's marriage was unhappy.
53 I think it's important to make the point that Harry's marriage is a happy one. The problem is that Harry is without a proper role. He has the Invictors Games, yes, but do you think he misses aspects of life in the UK and the friends he has kept there. He has charities he supports there and his mother is buried there. While he had a difficult week during the visit, the meeting with the King and his family was a positive. Hillary Fordage added seeing the good old Harry playing wheelchair rugby within Victor's games participants showing him grinning ear to ear. She said he was so happy in his element. Meeting with his father also would have reminded him of the prominent life he once led. Wakeford believes Harry Madan's life is very different from what they expected in America, from what they hoped for. What has shifted significantly is the gap between what they said they were building and what they actually built. They left the royal family to become financially independent. He also questioned the widely reported value of their media contracts. The headline numbers of one hundred million dollars from Netflix steels and twenty million for Spotify always obscured what the real figures were. The Netflix steel was closer to sixty million and the Spotify deal was five million to exit early. That's a signific amount of money, but their costs are also extremely high and they don't have a sustainable business model. Folks, close to them say that within five years they need to figure out what their strategy is. They're not bankrupt and those headlines aren't true.
12 They're not running out of money, but they do have to balance their costs against their future income. British broadcaster Helene the Child believes Harry misses what he knows. His title gives him a status and sense of achievement and credibility. His royal connection is everything he knows and I'm sure what he pines for deep down. That view echoes comments made by people who knew Harry before his moved to California. One longtime acquaintance previously told These Sunday Times that Harry has become isolated from many of the friendships formed earlier in his life. That source said, I know how important it is for him to have a happy, settled family life, but you need to do more than if you're him. He has ended up isolated from his family and most of his old mates in an environment where your friendships are not like the ones you forged as a young man.
59 He used to love a night out in the pub and hanging out in the country with friends. Maybe he has grown into a different person, but do I think he'd really suit the California lifestyle. No, now that we've all seen to play out, what has that left him with on the surface and enviable lifestyle. But for the Harry I know, I can't imagine that gilded exile in California is where he wanted to end up. According to Closer magazine, Harry had hoped the UK visit would mark the family's first return to Britain together in four years. Instead, he arrived alone, with uncertainty continuing for days over whether Megan, Archie and Lilibet would join him. The magazine cites an unnamed source who claims Harry struggled with the changing plans. Harry's heartbroken and is feeling more alone and isolated than ever.
40 The source said he was already consumed with anxiety about this trip and that one source of comfort for him was having Meghan and the children by his side. His feeling incredibly betrayed by Meghan's sudden u turn. Meghan is suddenly making all these massive life altering decisions on her own, from pulling out of their planned joint charity commitments to freezing him out of family plans. Harry's completely in the dark about why she's suddenly shutting down retreating. Is desperately trying to understand her mindset, but the communication is completely broken down and it's a terrifyingly lonely position for him to be in. Things have become so strained between them behind closed doors, Megan insisted she couldn't fake it anymore in the UK, especially when she'd be having to deal with the stress and anxiety of seeing all the family and the intense spotlight they'd be under. The last few weeks have been increasingly strained and the pressure of the trip became too much, with Megan buckling and telling Harry she couldn't face the eyes of the world looking for even the tiniest fracture, a cold glance or a hint of distance between them while they navigate their marriage issues.
41 In The Express, Emily Wright suggests Prince Harry's endless flip flopping over security just resulted in a massive self own. She writes, for years we've heard the same excuse on Loop Britain is just too dangerous for the Sussexes. Yet after a week of frantic flip flopping that gave the public severe whiplash, Harry did something remarkable. He didn't just visit the UK alone. He brought his family with him, and in doing so, the Duke of Sussex has accidentally blown his own multi year security argument cleaning out of the water. He has shot himself in the foot, and the irony is he probably doesn't even realize it. We were led to believe that stepping off a plane without an armed escort was equivalent to walking into a lion's den. Megan, we were told, would definitely stay behind in Europe while Harry faced the British public alone to mark the one year ago countdown launch for the twenty twenty seven Games in Birmingham. But then the twist. While the media was busy with the RAVEC ruling, Megan, Archie and Lilibert slipped into the country unnoticed. It wasn't until Buckingham Palace broke the news late on Friday afternoon that anyone even realized they were here, and even then the publgonna knew about the quick stop at Highgrove House, where they spent a quiet afternoon reuniting with King Charles before slipping away again.
51 No paparazzi pictures, no security breaches, no drama, in fact, nobody even knew where they were until the Highgrove visit had already happened. What this flawless under the radar trip proves is exactly what critics have argued for years. The private visits to the UK have always been feasible. The Royal family is one of the most real estate rich institutions on earth. Between Sandringham, Bow, Moral, Windsor, High Grove and Clarence House, the Windsor family controls an impenetrable network of highly secured, privately policed properties scattered across the British countryside. When Harry and his family stay within the perimeter of these Royal estates, they are protected by the existing world class security already stationed there. This recent trip proved that it is entirely possible to coordinate a private family visit, use existing Royal security infrastructure, and keep the children safe, happy, and entirely out of the public eye. It can be easy to execute these visits before anyone even realizes they've begun.
47 If the High Grove visit didn't prove how easy it is to maintain privacy, the family's choice of accommodation certainly did. The fact that they spent the entire weekend hiding out at Althorpe House. Only came to light over the weekend when the Ail on Sunday broke the story after Harry was spotted leaving the estate. Allthorpe isn't even a heavily guarded working royal palace, it's the Spencer family's private ancestral home. Yet Harry, Megan, and their two young children managed to reside there perfectly, safely, completely under the radar, without a single member of the public or the press realizing they were there until it was already over wire, palacing just a moment. Prince William is reportedly still struggling with a fallout from his fractured relationship with Prince Hary, and according to a new tabloid report, Kate has reached the point where she's trying a different approach. According to heat Weld, it's tearing her apart to see him so upset and angry all the time. Kate's tried everything with William. She's listened, she's sympathized, she's encouraged him to talk it through, and nothing seems to work. She's at the point where she doesn't know what else to do to help, so she's resorting to a bit of tough love and ordering him to snap out of it. This. Aurce went on to claim Kate told her husband to get a grip and stop allow ongoing dispute with Harry to dominate his mood because it was affecting the entire family. The source said she's told him he needs to take action to get out of this horrible headspace, and in her view, committing to a serious exercise re regime is the answer. She says working up a sweat is the best medicine. She also wants him to give yoga a proper go, because
18 in her view, he clearly needs a better way to cope with all this stress. Despite that tougher approach, the insider insisted Catherine understands William is in a lot of pain over this situation with Harry. One source describe the situation bluntly to people, saying it's so broken. Another added, I thought it would have been perhaps eased a little bit by now, to be honest, but there has been no movement, especially on William's side. There is no contact. Royal historian Robert Lacey believes the divide will not heal without a significant step from Harry. He believes the rift is very profound and very long lasting. It will not be changed, in my opinion, until Harry makes a move and apologizes. Royal author Simon Vigor adds Princess Diana would be devastated that it has turned out like this, particularly because the brothers were once so close and they have it.
