Harry’s UK Trip in Jeopardy as Security Dispute Escalates - Plus Kate’s Remarkable Three Peaks Challenge

Prince Harry's hopes of bringing Meghan, Prince Archie and Princess Lilabit to Britain have reportedly been thrown into doubt after a decision over police protection. The Guardian reports that the government has declined a request connected to police protection outside royal residences, creating uncertainty of whether the family will travel at all. A source close to Prince Harry told the newspaper their plans to see family friends and visit various charitable causes close to the Duke's heart have been pulled out from under their feet at the eleventh hour. He's looking at every option to try and get the family here safely and keep them safe when they're on the ground. If he can find a way to do that, he will. The hope is they can meet their grandfather, but there is no way that that can happen if they are chased by paparazzi wherever they go from the moment they step off the plane.

They quote an unnamed source of saying Kate is an incredibly forgiving person, but there has been so much hurt stirred up over the years by Megan, it's impossible for her to simply forget everything and move on overnight. Kate does want to see Harry, and she wants to do whatever she can to help the King, but there's no denying that having Megan there makes things worlds more complicated for her. Kate undertook the challenge to raise money for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, just eighteen months after announcing she was in remission following cancer treatment. The Princess covered twenty three miles, climbed more than ten thousand feet in elevation and traveled more than four hundred and sixty miles between the three mountains ben the Nevas in Scotland, Scaffold Pike in England and Snowdon in Wales. In a message shared after completing the challenge, Catherine said, I have taken on the National Three Peaks Challenge not simply as a physical endeavor but as a chance to explore life beyond diagnosis and to give something back.
