In a statement to People, a spokesperson for the Duke of Sussex said the Duke of Sussex has never said anything remotely resembling what is being claimed. The spokesperson added that Tina Brown knows exactly what she's doing by inventing these words and attributing them to a highly respected woman who is deceased and unable to correct the record.

During the interview, Brown alleged that Goodall told her she had visited Archie shortly after his birth, and that Harry introduced the baby by saying, this is my little African child. Brown later issued a clarification to People, saying she had misspoken. During the interview. She said she remembered affectionately, Harry saying, when Archie was born, I want you to come and meet my African child. She actually said Africa child, but I was speaking too quickly. Aside from that inadvertent mistake, everything else in missus Goodall's conversation with me I rendered accurately. Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have announced a new chapter for their charitable work, confirming that the Archwell Foundation will now be known as Archwell Philanthropies, five years after its launch. Announcing the rebrand, a spokeswoman said this next chapter allows Prince Harry and Megan, Duke and Duchess of Sussex, to broaden their global philanthropic efforts as a family with meaningful reach and maximum impact, grounded in the same values, partnerships and their commitment to show up and do. We've got the Chancellor planning budget cuts and children in poverty up and down this country, but for some reason, the monarchy is getting more and more funding as each day goes on.
