New claims from a source cited by Andrew Lownie allege that Jeffrey Epstein discussed a plan to “take out” Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, as fresh emails released by a United States congressional committee show Epstein calling the former duke “great fun” and referring to him by the codename “The Duke.” Andrew is seen in public for the first time since losing his titles, riding on the Windsor estate while negotiations over his move continue, and reports suggest King Charles has struck a private deal to protect Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie’s future roles. There are also signs Sarah may seek refuge in Portugal as the fallout spreads. Against this backdrop, Kensington Palace confirms that the Prince and Princess of Wales will lead the family’s public front at this year’s Royal Variety Performance at the Royal Albert Hall.
