00 Ah Calorogus Shark Media, Pat Low, and welcome to Palace Intrigue. I am your host, Mark Francis. Might there be a little tension between this queen and the next? A tabloid report claims Kat and William are already looking toward the future of the monarchy and that Lady Louise Windsor could play a much bigger role when William eventually becomes king. According to Heat magazine, William mcatherine see Lady Louise, the daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh, as one of the royal family's greatest long term assets. The report claims the couple would like Louise to become a working royal after she completes her gap year following her graduation from the University of Saint Andrews. An unnamed source told the magazine Kat and William absolutely see Louise as someone they would like around them in a much bigger role once they take the throne. Camilla gets very territorial whenever she feels William and Kate are getting too far ahead of themselves, and in her eyes, that's exactly what's happening here, seeing Kate become so close to Louise really gets under her skin. She sees it as more proof that they're quietly drawing up their own blueprint for the monarchy without so much as a nod to her or Charles. Lady Louise has long enjoyed a close relationship with William and Catherine.

16 She served as one of Catherine's and bride'smaids at the royal wedding in twenty eleven, and as frequently appeared alongside the Whales family at major royal events in recent years. Louise has attracted praise from Royal Watches for her low key approach to royal life, her interest in carriage driving, and her reputation for quietly carrying out public duties without seeking attention. The source claimed that those qualities are exactly what William and Katherine admire. They absolutely adore her, and I've told people she's exactly the type of person the monarchy needs more of. Kate's always been incredibly close to Sophie as well, whereas Camilla has never had much time for her, which only adds to this paranoia she has about being pushed to the sidelines. They're thinking very carefully about who they want around them. When they do take the three ran and Louise is at the top of that list. As far as they're concerned, she ticks every single box. She's classy, she's well educated, she's humble, she just gets on with things without expecting applause, and she's never been one to cause drama. She's also mature, way beyond her years. People always say that she's got the same steady temperament that Kate has, so it's no wonder William and Kate genuinely believes she'd be a huge asset as the monarchy evolves. Hopefully Kate won't invite the Queen over to watch Battlestar galacticas it turns out, the Queen hates sci fi. During a visit to London's historic Hayward Hill Bookshop to celebrate its ninetieth anniversary, the Queen spoke about her reading habits while taking part in one of the store's personalized book consultations. Camilla, who founded the Queen's Reading Room and has long championed literacy, said about eighty percent of what she reads as fiction. When the conversation

47 turned to science fiction, she didn't hesitate. I hate sci fi, she said with a laugh that, I'm afraid is not my favorite. She quickly added, I'm sure a lot of people love it. When asked if she might be persuaded to give the genre another chance, the Queen remained unconvinced. No, I can't do that. You have to have some things you love and some things you really don't love, and that really is one I don't love. Camilla also shared some of her favorite books, calling Elizabeth Jane Howard's The Kasalet Chronicles her absolute favorite series and praising the Count of Monte Cristo. She has also previously spoken of her fondness for Jillie Cooper's novels, including Rivals. Not everyone is excited about Megan's Ammy Nod, Megan Kelly said, it's amazing to me, quite possibly the actual worst product to hit television over the past five years, and now she has managed to get an Emmy. Kelly then revisited clips from the series, including the moment where Megan says I've always loved taking something pretty ordinary and elevating it. Responding to the clip, Kelly joked, elevate. We have to elevate everything.

48 You can elevate your peanuts and your pretzels, by taking them from the store bought bag and transferring them into a cellophone bag. That's an elevation. Kelly also mocked another scene from the series. This is one of the most glamorous moments of my life. Sure, that's how my friends talk to me too, when they come over. They're always telling me how glamorous everything is when they're hanging out with me. Continuing her criticism, Kelly added, no, I just want to incorporate these tricks into your everyday life. As she prances around on a beekeeper's outfit. Clearly she's got enough juice left in the can to get an Emmy nomination out of this, which is meaningless but right on brand for her entertainment reporter Rob Shooter sites unnamed Pallace sources who allege Harry recognizes the contrasting perspectives of his father and older brother. One inside of claimed Harry doesn't just know where the weak spots are, he knows how to use them. He understands exactly where Charles and Williams see things differently, and he knows how to put them on opposite sides of the same issue. That's where he has leverage. Another source alleged Harry knew exactly what the optics would be. A meeting with Charles was always going to infuriate William. Harry understands that his father still thinks like a parent, while William thinks like the future king.

54 Those are two very different mindsets, and Harry knows how to play both. The report goes on to claim that Prince William's trust and his younger brother has not recovered following the publication of Spare and years of public criticism of the royal family. William's trust is gone. Another source said Harry knows reconciliation with Charles, even in small steps, puts enormous pressure on William. He understands exactly how those dynamics play out, and he's prepared to use them when it suits him more palating just a moment. According to Closer magazine, Eugenie has told both her father Andrew mount Batten Windsor and her mother, Sarah Ferguson that she does not want them present when she gives birth. An unnamed source claimed the princess wants to welcome her baby with the absolute minimum of fuss. She doesn't want the hospital turning into a circus, and she's made that very clear. Unfortunately, her parents are not taking it well. She's getting a ton of pushback from Andrew and Sarah. Andrew is fuming and taking it as a personal insult. He doesn't seem to care that if he's there, it will become the main focus, which is the last thing Eugenie wants. The hope is Sarah might quietly be allowed to sneak in at some point, but Andrew has been told he has to stay away. Giving birth is already hard enough, so the last thing she needs to be worrying about is the fallout that will inevitably happen if he shows up.

11 For News dot co dot uk, daniela Elson writes, royal history is full of dukes being taken down mid charge on galloping steeds or by a dastardly machiavellian vellum strewn plotting, But in the case of Andrew, it's a coterie of unnamed men who spent the careers in the Pointi ins of Plains with the flesh pots of Central Asia, and who could be the deciding factor that lands him in a court room or sees him exonerated. While the world has largely moved on since the former Duke of York's arrest on his sixty sixth birthday. This year, Thames Valley Police have not empowered by and I'm assuming industrial vats of nes Cafe slipped out of the bill Worthy styrofoam cups. They've been trying to stand up a case against Andrew. You can see why the police might want a quiet word with these officers, officers who would surely remember if they had ever had the pleasure of taking their principle to Pizza Express and Woking and had to explain what a stuffed Chruss was. Earlier this year, former senior mat Protection officer raised concerns that the PPOs might have turned a bland I after having become too close to the lovely chap they were paid to protect. The officer explained Royalty Protection officers were often assigned to the same principle for many years, so it's no wonder they became close.
