03 Caloroga Shark Media. Hello and welcome to Palace Intrigue, and I am your host, Mark Francis. Fast Company profiled Meghan Elizabeth Siegrin writes, when I sit down to speak with her, she says she's recently taken on a new role, that of the tooth fairy. Archie, her six year old son recently lost his first tooth. Meghan rushed home to ensure she could be the one to leave a little money in a small dinosaur under his pillow. At two am, Archie worked Meghan up excitedly to tell her what had happened. I had a lot of business meetings the next morning, but I still chose to cuddle with him the rest of the night. She says, Those mum moments energized me to be a better founder, a better employer, a better boss.

47 These are the kinds of work life details that Megan likes to get into her podcast. These are the kinds of work life details that Megan likes to get into her podcast series Confessions of a Female Founder, made with the production company Laminade Media, which is also behind podcasts by Sarah Silverman and David Ducovny, among others. It has had more than eight hundred thousand downloads since it's April launch. We asked our podcast industry insider about that number. It might sound like a lot, but it's not. Basic Math puts it at one hundred thousand an episode for a high profile launch like that disaster. Back to Fast Company, Who Shared, Megan says that she had been exploring various ways of launching a business when Bella Baharia, Netflix's chief content officer, approached her. At the time, I had been working towards building out my own in house team, Megan says.

37 But I had a complete U turn because I completely brought into the vision she was sharing, which is where content and commerce meet not in a product placement way, but rather in an ideological way. In many ways, this is a pioneering partnership Netflix. Along with Megan, the Netflix team decided that it made sense for as Ever to exist on its own without any Netflix branding. This is why the line isn't called with Love Megan like the show. The brand is in the same universe as the show, but they're not the same, Meghan says. Megan also points out that Netflix is not just a financial backer. The company's consumer packaged goods team works closely with Megan's team to manufacture the products. We are on calls daily, working through product development skews and inventory. She says. We have a full trip tomorrow to look at different manufacturers and suppliers as we expand the brand, Megan says she's planning to announce new products in the first quarter of twenty twenty six. There are some clues about what new items might be in the pipeline. Megan's trademark application for a brand includes things like cookbooks, table where, cutlery, and serving where.

39 I want to really focus on the hospitality angle of as ever, but as we take the learnings, we can understand what the customers needs are seasonally, she says. Megan is now involved in such a wide range of projects, she's sure to find some way to tell her story. If I had to write a resume, I don't know what I would call myself, she says. I think it speaks to this chapter many of us find ourselves in where none of us are one note, but I believe all the notes I am playing a part of the same song. In the Daily Mail, Richard Eden writes under the headline I can't understand Meghan's marketing godwedy gook, But I do know where her business is going wrong. After an insider told me I was among those who presumed that Megan was using the oldest sales technique in the book, deliberately having only a tiny amount of supplies available for sale to create the illusion of huge demand. Soon, I presumed the range would be replenished with stock that had been held back so the company could cash in with further sales. More than fifty days later, however, the online shelves remain empty and her website is plastered with sand little sold out science. Despite reports that her Raspberry Jam will return to the shelves imminently, this week, Megan made an astonishing announcement. It would apparently be too easy to restock her brand. Instead, She's not going to sell anything more until next year, perhaps not for another ten months.

57 If you can understand Meghan's marketing gobbledy gook the learnings, then you are cleverer than me. Royal author Tom Bauer tells Okay, Harry is stuck out in California and clinging onto his royal status, as is she. Plus Harry's thinking of reconciliation, having dumped on the royal family with Spare, the Oprah Winfrey interview and the Netflix series. That's just totally unrealistic. There is zero chance of reconciliation because there is a reconcilable anger on the part of William and Kate. There's no doubt that in some conversations Harry has said that he might come back. So the real problem is that he wants to come back, but they have nowhere to live because Frogmore Cottage was taken away from him after Spare was published. Also, Meghan doesn't want to come back, and there's no way he's going to split off from her and his children. Earl Spencer, Princess Diana's younger brother, expressed shock and sadness after vandals stept fire to a farmhouse at Allthorpe House, the family's historic estate where Diana is buried. In a post on social media, Spencer shared images of the blaze, thinking Northampton sheer Fire Service for their efforts and confirm that no one was inside the building of the time. The fire was so severe that the farmhouse had to be demolished for safety reasons. The fire department, still on site has not determined the cause yet.

11 Althorpe House has been the Spencer family home for five hundred years and it's where Diana spent her childhood. Her final resting place on an island in the middle of a lake on the estate is a tranquil and private site only accessible to family members. Diana's sons, Prince William and Prince Harry have visited the grave, with Harry once sharing a poignant moment there with his wife Megan Markle. The estate is now overseen by Charles Spencer, with his eldest son Louis, said to inherit it due to the aristocratic tradition of primogeniture. Despite having three older sisters, Louis is next in line to carry on the family legacy at Althorpe. Princess Anne visited Cunard's Queen Anne cruise ship in Liverpool, marking a special occasion for the cruise lines one hundred and eighty fifth anniversary and the ship's arrival to join the Liverpool FC Premier League title parade. However, the celebrations were overshadowed by a major incident on Water Street where a car drove into a crowd after Monday's parade, entering forty seven people two of whom suffered serious injuries.

12 Amidst the tragedy, Princess Anne was given a tour of the Queen Anne and later participated in a moment of reflection on board. The Princess stood alongside Cunard President Katie McAllister and Liverpool City Council Chief Executive Andrew Lewis as they offered their support for those affected by the incident.
