Speaker 1: And I'm Susan and we finally meet. How are you.

00:01:04
Speaker 5: I'm good.

00:01:05
Speaker 6: I've been up all night with my dog, so I have no makeup.

00:01:11
Speaker 3: I've been up all night too, and I don't have a dog, so you know, we just want to get right into a Brandy, you have been so transparent in the last few years about your health struggles.

00:01:22
Speaker 4: First off, of course, is how are you doing today? Seriously?

00:01:26
Speaker 5: I'm good, Like I have.

00:01:29
Speaker 6: What's it called tonightis or something in my ear so to it's ringing constantly, so I'm almost used.

00:01:38
Speaker 5: To hear this for me, But it's hard to hear people. And my friend, one of my friends, can't hear out of his.

00:01:45
Speaker 6: Lat deer, and I always get frustrated with him because I would have to like repeat everything.

00:01:50
Speaker 5: And now I'm like, I was such a bitch. I am so sorry. I cannot like I literally a bitch.

00:01:57
Speaker 4: Brandy Karmen is the bench is He's like I told you.

00:02:01
Speaker 2: I'm like, oh, Crandy, I have to share with you. My daughter went through five years of hell and had no idea what was wrong with her. And she actually wrote a book about tatas and it was her breast implants. Can you share with us your journey?

00:02:18
Speaker 6: Yeah, I mean, honestly, it all started. I just started feeling sick about three years ago, and it was all like all my symptoms are really in my neck and my head and not in my.

00:02:31
Speaker 5: Head but my face.

00:02:33
Speaker 1: So she says, yeah.

00:02:36
Speaker 4: And now it's trouble to your ears.

00:02:38
Speaker 5: Right, like the whole body's going.

00:02:41
Speaker 6: But then my joints, like I felt like I was one hundred years old, Like I would go to sit down and it would take me like five minutes to stand up, and it was just like I ate, I can't even explain it. I just felt like I had brain fog.

00:03:02
Speaker 5: I still can't. It's coming back to me, so excuse me.

00:03:06
Speaker 1: It's exactly what Brittany did.

00:03:08
Speaker 4: Yeah, and how did you decide that the issue?

00:03:11
Speaker 3: What made you decide to have the breastplant implants taken out?

00:03:16
Speaker 5: Well, I mean they were making me sick.

00:03:18
Speaker 1: Did you know that was the cause? Though? How did you figure that out? Or you didn't?

00:03:22
Speaker 4: No, I mean it could have been menopause, It could have been anything.

00:03:25
Speaker 6: No, I had no idea, but I was go. I went to twenty one doctors and not so I'm telling you two.

00:03:32
Speaker 5: Hundred thousand dollars.

00:03:34
Speaker 6: Like I had insurance with the people at my insurance like.

00:03:37
Speaker 5: Kaiser, let's just say sucks.

00:03:40
Speaker 6: So I was like paying out of pocket to see specialists, infectious disease doctors, you know when we're toologists, like every doctor you can think of I.

00:03:50
Speaker 3: Saw, and no one suggested it was the breast implants.

00:03:54
Speaker 5: No, because I had mammograms that were fine.

00:03:57
Speaker 3: And did they anyone say menopause or just a the natural process of aging or anything.

00:04:02
Speaker 4: Nothing?

00:04:02
Speaker 5: No, No, because it wasn't.

00:04:04
Speaker 6: It came on like overnight and I had like I had weird lumps in my neck, like hard lumps. That's like really really hard lumps. I still have them because it's going to take some time for them to go away. Yes, I can't explain, like the brain fog, the fatigue.

00:04:24
Speaker 5: I would get up.

00:04:25
Speaker 6: And go into the pantry and not know why I was in the pantry.

00:04:28
Speaker 3: But see what I'm saying, Brandy, I hear you. Obviously you and Susan Starter have a lot in common.

00:04:34
Speaker 1: Everything she's saying.

00:04:35
Speaker 3: Kathy, I watched, but when I went through menopause, the brain fog, that getting up and going to the room, Why the hell am I hare?

00:04:41
Speaker 4: I don't remember?

00:04:41
Speaker 1: It's different.

00:04:43
Speaker 6: Yeah, no, no, no, yeah, menopause is like hot flashes and nice threats and.

00:04:49
Speaker 1: All the fun was.

00:04:51
Speaker 5: Yeah, I did it. It was completely different from me. And by the way that was done in COVID, so I knew it wasn't that.

00:04:58
Speaker 2: And when you had them taken out, did you feel immediate something? Because my daughter felt immediately. I did a thousand times better, not one hundred percent, but no, no, a thousand times better.

00:05:10
Speaker 5: Yeah.

00:05:11
Speaker 6: So I'm two weeks out right now. But the first week I was like up, I like I would sit down, I would jump up.

00:05:19
Speaker 5: I was going in the kitchen.

00:05:20
Speaker 6: I was actually doing too much because I was so excited to be moving right, and he's like, you have to stop. Like, I'm like, no, you know, Like for me, all of my symptoms were on my left side, really, but my right breast was ruptured and had like leaks, and I had silicon and both my like both under my arms and both my arms like silicon in my nose. However, like the mammograms were saying you're fine, so I like, literally not that long ago. Was like to my friend James, who's gay, because the only love I get right.

00:06:01
Speaker 3: Now, Damn, I was gonna ask if you would fix me up when I heard a man's name was fix me up with him?

00:06:06
Speaker 6: Never mind, you don't want him. He to tell you everything that's wrong with you.

00:06:11
Speaker 4: Oh and that's a long list, Brandy, you have no idea.

00:06:14
Speaker 6: Well, he would rattle it off, trust me, no, And I said, James, because he's obsessed with boobs. And I always tell him, I'm like, I don't think your mom breastfed you long enough.

00:06:27
Speaker 5: That's a problem. He's always wanted to take a picture.

00:06:30
Speaker 6: Where his hands are over my boobs. I'm like we actually did it one.

00:06:34
Speaker 5: Day, but I was just like why why? And so I asked him. I said, James, is my right boob look a little bit smaller than my left boob?

00:06:45
Speaker 6: And He's like, yes, I go and feel it, and I go, it's feeling a little bit harder. This is My boobs were fine, like nothing.

00:06:54
Speaker 1: So I.

00:06:57
Speaker 6: Got a new manager and I told her about my problem and she told me that she had fifteen breasts and plant surgeries. She almost died from it. It took her like five years. She goes, you need to get a sonogram, like tomorrow. Yeah, And so I went to this new place that like, usually sonograms give you six thousand images, this one gives you thirty thousand images.

00:07:23
Speaker 3: You feel like I haven't asked, Wendy, do you feel like you sort of have earned your medical degree by now? You know?

00:07:29
Speaker 6: My friend told me, she's like, if you know, if you're on antibiotics to longly stopped working.

00:07:34
Speaker 5: I'm my girl, I'm a doctor. I'm very aware of that.

00:07:38
Speaker 6: At this point, I'm like, I kind of I've been down every medical rabbit hole there is.

00:07:44
Speaker 3: Wow, it's amazing. So so clearly you're beginning to feel better. And this podcast, as you probably know, is all about relationships and finding love. In chapter two, which we are all in our chapter two, I'm.

00:07:57
Speaker 1: On chapter three, Chapter three.

00:08:01
Speaker 3: Well, okay, you're on Jepter three. I so we all have our our you know, Susan's divorced. You're divorced. We're going to get into that a little bit. I'm a widow, which is sorry, yeah, thank you, it's in fact, today is the seventh anniversary of his death, and he died by suicide seven years ago today.

00:08:19
Speaker 5: God, that's for I'm so sorry.

00:08:21
Speaker 4: Thank you, but this is about you today.

00:08:22
Speaker 5: It was about you today too.

00:08:24
Speaker 4: That's awesome day.

00:08:25
Speaker 3: Thank you, thank you. I appreciate it. But I got some great news today, and that's how life is. So I'm doing great. I want to know, though, how I've had some health issues since I've been single and going through it by myself.

00:08:38
Speaker 4: You know, I have three grown children. You have two young sons.

00:08:41
Speaker 3: But I want to know how has it been going through this experience as a single woman with a gay friend who just wants to put his hands on your toe.

00:08:48
Speaker 2: And she mentioned her best friend was, you know, her gay friend. At least I thought she had so much. Yeah, you know, and when you go healthy, did your ex husband come to support you at all? Or was he?

00:09:00
Speaker 1: No? No, your sons.

00:09:04
Speaker 6: Noh yeah, my son's have been they're eighteen and twenty two, so they're grown.

00:09:08
Speaker 3: I mean they're they're oh trust me, trust me branding not grown.

00:09:11
Speaker 4: They are not grown.

00:09:12
Speaker 3: Boy, My brains are not frontal lobes are not fully developed by the twenty four So start marking your calendar.

00:09:19
Speaker 6: No, I mean, but they're eighteen and twenty two. Was like my twelve and fifteen, you know what I mean? Like the boy, these kids too right now, they're not like developed.

00:09:31
Speaker 5: I can't explain it.

00:09:33
Speaker 4: Are you saying?

00:09:33
Speaker 5: Yeah?

00:09:33
Speaker 3: But then you know what, They'll get there and then they'll be your biggest supporters. But I want to know if your ex husband, Eddie, he has not shown any support to you throughout this, because what you've been through is traumatic.

00:09:45
Speaker 4: I'm going to take that as a no, he has not.

00:09:48
Speaker 6: I mean, but you know, we are getting along and that's all I can ask for. We like are together on holidays. I missed a few because I was so ill and it sucked to not be with my boys on you know, certain holidays I just I literally would lay in bed like her four days straight.

00:10:10
Speaker 1: Yeah.

00:10:10
Speaker 2: Yeah, what about like Leanne went through her her wellness treatment thing and lost her teeth in the middle of a concert.

00:10:17
Speaker 1: Do you guys swap.

00:10:18
Speaker 4: Stories or you just missed Brandy's eyes?

00:10:21
Speaker 1: I saw.

00:10:23
Speaker 4: I just want to know.

00:10:26
Speaker 6: I mean, yeah, so I was over for Christmas and we were talking about I told her like I had like sixteeth pol during as well, during this whole thing, which is great. They're so like, I feel like a hillbilly because there's.

00:10:40
Speaker 1: So missing every here and waiting for your implants.

00:10:44
Speaker 5: And I kidnot exactly.

00:10:45
Speaker 4: It's a bitch getting old, Brandy. It's a bitch getting old.

00:10:49
Speaker 5: I know, well, I've had teeth that she's my whole life. Yeah teeth, Yeah exactly.

00:10:54
Speaker 4: Wait are you telling me that?

00:10:56
Speaker 3: Okay, so brand I mean, obviously you're not going to be kissing with Leanne, but given what she's been through and what you've been through, please tell me she has supported you in some way.

00:11:10
Speaker 2: I mean they have me over for the holidays, did they talk she talked about the plasma treatment that she had and what it did for her or anything like, well, she I.

00:11:19
Speaker 6: Don't think she had had it yet, or no, she had, actually she had. I talked to her at Christmas a little bit, but I hadn't told anyone.

00:11:27
Speaker 5: About my breasts as yet. But luckily I have two boys with big mouths.

00:11:33
Speaker 6: And she's like, so, it's your breasts and plants and I'm like no.

00:11:39
Speaker 5: And I looked at Mason, He's like what she said? Like she got it out of me.

00:11:45
Speaker 6: I'm like, oh my god, I'm never telling you anything again.

00:11:49
Speaker 1: You only tell girlfriends this. Yes, oh you're getting friends.

00:11:53
Speaker 3: I mean I want to know, like I a ten thousand dollars plasma exchange to clear toxin's.

00:12:00
Speaker 4: You know, I find a bottle of vodka does the same thing.

00:12:04
Speaker 6: I mean, unless you're on antibiotics and you're just a giant walking yeast infection, which is never fund.

00:12:19
Speaker 3: I have a couple of questions, though, have you you know I'm I'm single, SUSI sort of single?

00:12:25
Speaker 1: What's it like?

00:12:26
Speaker 3: Have you found a tribe? How have you learned to love yourself again? How you know what you're going through is traumatic? How are you moving through this stage of your life?

00:12:36
Speaker 5: Honestly? Like, I haven't had sex in three years.

00:12:39
Speaker 6: The whole time I've been sick because I've I've lost my confidence and I felt like I lost everything at once in a weird way, like I lost my job, I lost my reputation, I lost my looks.

00:12:55
Speaker 2: Well, you also suffered from some kind of facial yeah, site, I think you mentioned.

00:13:01
Speaker 6: Yeah, but I'm not sure that that this maybe didn't have something to do with it. Yeah, I mean my breast implants were eighteen years old.

00:13:09
Speaker 3: So are you wait, are the breast implants? Like, I'm just gonna be honest. I mean, Susan and I have both had a little work done, We've had a little fillers, a little. I mean, is it possible that something else caused the parasites on your face or as Yeah, I.

00:13:25
Speaker 6: Mean I went to Africa. I mean I didn't have like a bunch of parasites. You only need one.

00:13:30
Speaker 3: But there's there's comfort. There's comfort in more brandy, there's comfort.

00:13:37
Speaker 6: Is there comfort in numbers? I don't not, not when it comes to parasites. But I literally was like, something's in my faith having babies and as I'm massaga, I'm like, sorry, sorry, I'm killing your babies.

00:13:51
Speaker 3: Yes, I mean Susan is an expert on because her daughter has been through Helen back and that's true. I will say to you, though, you know the me of what you just listed, you know, losing a marriage, losing your job, losing your reputation. I'll argue the fact losing your looks. But I understand what you're saying. And I'm a big proponent of uh. I always say loss is loss. You know, it's not a it's not a it's not a game to see whose loss is worse.

00:14:19
Speaker 1: No, no, but it's a definition and definition I'm sure.

00:14:24
Speaker 3: And I know that I went through an incredibly hard time and I had grief therapy and I leaned on friends. Are you what are you doing? Because these can be dark times.

00:14:35
Speaker 5: Yeah, I know they've been.

00:14:36
Speaker 6: They've been dark times because I've I've isolated myself because you know, everyone would call, how are you horrible?

00:14:46
Speaker 1: Yeah?

00:14:47
Speaker 4: I know, I got I got the letters. How are you doing? How the hell do you think?

00:14:50
Speaker 6: Exactly like, and you don't want to you don't want to keep saying it. Yeah, and then it's just like, so I just stopped answering my phone. Yeah I was really I only saw my kids, really.

00:15:02
Speaker 2: And now today you're feeling a little bit more like yourself. You're looking better, You're feeling healthier. How does that make you feel like you're starting to love yourself again and feel confident?

00:15:13
Speaker 5: You know, I'm still working on my confidence, you know. I think it just has to.

00:15:17
Speaker 6: Do with like my hair fell out, and yeah, you know.

00:15:21
Speaker 5: What I mean, Like it's just a lot of it seems silly, but I mean, as women, we like when you when you look good, you.

00:15:31
Speaker 1: Feel good, you feel good.

00:15:32
Speaker 3: Yes, But Brandy, let me say something first of all, letting others judge for me every day was a struggle. I'm just gonna be honest. Getting through what I went through and so what did I got? Even though I wanted to crawl in bed and put the and I did, but I realized that I have a lot of life left to live, and so do you. In my darkest days, and believe me, I had them, I couldn't shower, I couldn't answer the phone, I couldn't read one more uh no of condolence?

00:16:01
Speaker 4: Sorry, yeah I can't one more, I'm sorry? And one more? Can I do something for you?

00:16:06
Speaker 3: Like I couldn't even think how to put my foot so I just one day I just thought I have to get up and move.

00:16:12
Speaker 4: And I got up and started walking. I journaled a couple of times.

00:16:17
Speaker 3: I started It sounds so silly now, but like, could I get up and boil an egg mix scrambled eggs?

00:16:24
Speaker 4: Like do something?

00:16:25
Speaker 3: Because I was I was frozen, and I you know, I want to know if you're doing any of those things.

00:16:31
Speaker 1: Two weeks out of surgery.

00:16:32
Speaker 4: Correct, But you can move, you can get out.

00:16:34
Speaker 6: My god, I was like sweeping during the windows. I came out of surgery and I threw my hand. I was a little bit loopy, and that day, like when they wheeled me out, I threw My'm like, yes, I threw.

00:16:46
Speaker 5: My hands in the air.

00:16:47
Speaker 4: They're like no.

00:16:50
Speaker 5: I'm like, They're like, yeah, let's not do that yet. You're you're feeling good right now, so what are you doing?

00:16:58
Speaker 4: What are you doing to make yourself feel better right now?

00:17:02
Speaker 5: Well, you're being a little pushy. I'm kidding.

00:17:06
Speaker 1: Me, Kathy Brandy.

00:17:10
Speaker 3: Listen, I'm the girl in the Golden Bachelor who told the woman who got married to zip it.

00:17:14
Speaker 4: So you know that's why I am.

00:17:15
Speaker 5: Well, yeah, well is she divorced now?

00:17:17
Speaker 2: Yeah?

00:17:17
Speaker 5: Yeah?

00:17:19
Speaker 6: Yeah, I'm still like I had my son and his girlfriend over for dinner and I made fun of him. That makes me really happy, Like making fun of my children.

00:17:35
Speaker 1: The same one that has your personality can get a little funny too.

00:17:39
Speaker 6: I mean, oh gosh, they they both have my wit and like, I'm like, I used to be real quick, but it's coming back.

00:17:49
Speaker 5: And he saw that. He's like, uh oh, he's like mom's.

00:17:54
Speaker 6: Like and his girlfriend I love her to death, and like I could say anything in front of her, and he was saying something so stupid that I had to.

00:18:05
Speaker 5: Call him out. I'm like, you like, and now now it's a joke.

00:18:09
Speaker 6: I mean I would say what it is, but he's gonna look like an ass.

00:18:12
Speaker 5: So I'm not.

00:18:13
Speaker 4: No, no, we don't want to.

00:18:14
Speaker 2: And wat don't your son be in love having a girlfriend. How does do you feel like someday you're gonna fall in love again?

00:18:21
Speaker 1: And are you open?

00:18:22
Speaker 3: And can I have your cast offs?

00:18:25
Speaker 1: Well?

00:18:26
Speaker 5: You know what, I don't know if I even have.

00:18:29
Speaker 6: Since my ex husband, I've had like relationships where I love the person, but I don't know if love is the same the second time.

00:18:39
Speaker 4: I don't think it is.

00:18:40
Speaker 1: I don't know.

00:18:41
Speaker 5: I couldn't tell you. I didn't I've not I had butterflies.

00:18:44
Speaker 1: Okay, that's a good thing, that's a good feeling.

00:18:46
Speaker 4: Butterflies turn into moss. What happened?

00:18:49
Speaker 5: No, I haven't had butterflies.

00:18:51
Speaker 4: Oh you haven't.

00:18:52
Speaker 5: You're just soil a cone everywhere.

00:18:53
Speaker 3: Yeah, I will say it looks different for me. It's looked very I don't want to replace my husband.

00:18:59
Speaker 4: I mean I wouldn't know.

00:19:00
Speaker 5: Yeah, God, you might want you, I definitely I don't.

00:19:03
Speaker 4: I don't do.

00:19:04
Speaker 2: Your sons ever say to you, mom, we want you to find somebody, We want you to get married again.

00:19:09
Speaker 1: Yeah, but I don't want to get married.

00:19:11
Speaker 5: But they want me to find a boyfriend. They're like, I think they're sick of like coming over and hanging out.

00:19:17
Speaker 4: So wait do they?

00:19:19
Speaker 3: So they don't say, I mean the guys boys. I have one daughter and two sons, and my daughter trusts me. If you think your boys are tough, have a daughter. Oh my god, it'll put you'll be Yeah. Really we can test to that. But I want to know, how do you look at marriage? How long were you married to Eddie?

00:19:35
Speaker 6: I was married for eight years, but with him for thirteen, like straight, there was no breaks.

00:19:40
Speaker 3: There was so yeah, so how would you look at I mean I was married. You don't even want to know how long. How do you look at marriage now? Like if you were considering it, how do you consider it now?

00:19:49
Speaker 6: Our sisters, I wouldn't I wouldn't get married again only because getting unmarried was so difficult. Yes, like it was the hardest, because I actually think this past three years is harder than my divorce, which she's saying a lot. But I would love to cohabitate. I would love to have a partner. I just don't want someone to be there because they have to be there.

00:20:12
Speaker 4: Yeah, because what would you look like? Give me what would he look like?

00:20:15
Speaker 2: Because you look for something different than what you did twenty years ago? Like what kind of traits would they have to have or not have that you?

00:20:25
Speaker 5: They have to be confident and like, like I can date a shorter guy. I'm a very tall girl.

00:20:30
Speaker 4: How tall are you ten?

00:20:32
Speaker 6: But when I put on heels, you know you're six two or six one? And I've dated like some shorter men. And as long as they're confident that I can wear my beautiful eye heels and I spent a lot of money on, then I'm cool with it.

00:20:46
Speaker 5: But if they're like, can you put on flats?

00:20:48
Speaker 2: We are breaking up? Yeah, because they're not comfortable in their own skin. Why on earth would I have to lower myself literally?

00:20:56
Speaker 5: And I love like ridges shoes, Like, what are you talking about?

00:21:01
Speaker 3: I'm just gonna say, Brandy, I don't think in that book shoes is one of the five.

00:21:07
Speaker 5: Well it should be.

00:21:08
Speaker 3: I mean we could, we could subtitle it under gifts if you want, But I mean shoes.

00:21:14
Speaker 6: I mean I buy like I buy myself shoes, shoes and purses. I spend money on everything else.

00:21:19
Speaker 5: I'm that target, Like.

00:21:20
Speaker 4: What size should do you wear?

00:21:22
Speaker 5: Well, it's so sad.

00:21:24
Speaker 6: I went from a seven and a half when I was before kids, and now I'm a nine.

00:21:30
Speaker 1: Damn I had to get.

00:21:31
Speaker 5: Rid of all of my favorite like like I buy expensive shoes, Like I don't spend money on a lot, but like my shoes.

00:21:39
Speaker 1: That's your thing. That's your thing.

00:21:52
Speaker 2: You know, after all this time and being a prisoner literally in your own body, not knowing what was happening to you, and now that you have an answer and you're moving forward, what will it take for you to start loving your body again instead of being afraid of it?

00:22:11
Speaker 4: Good sex yeah.

00:22:13
Speaker 5: I mean if I remember how.

00:22:15
Speaker 2: Brandy, three years you need a toy that's your first Oh, I have.

00:22:20
Speaker 5: Like I have buckets full of choys.

00:22:22
Speaker 6: I didn't have the energy and no desire right the desire to even use them.

00:22:28
Speaker 5: I mean I would go and get my hormones, like you know, the P and it didn't do and it gave me a little.

00:22:34
Speaker 1: Energy, but it was nothing.

00:22:38
Speaker 5: I have the hottest doctor, but he's very married, and I would just be like like that was like my big outing for the month, you know, like I'm going.

00:22:48
Speaker 4: To go into the to the doctor to get her ash shop. Wait, I want to know where she's looking.

00:22:53
Speaker 3: If when you decide to start dating, tell me what your procedure, what's your process going to because I'm taking notes here, Okay, So.

00:23:00
Speaker 6: I mean, honestly, i'd like on like dating websites, you are on your favorite I mean, but I was before it became it's like more like tender now.

00:23:14
Speaker 3: Honestly, wait, I would think you would be nervous, Brandy, because people know who you are. I would think you would use a match maker. I thought that's what you were going to say.

00:23:23
Speaker 6: Actually, no, I mean, honestly, street men have no idea Who I am?

00:23:27
Speaker 5: I mean it's Gazings.

00:23:31
Speaker 1: No, that's okay.

00:23:33
Speaker 6: That's actually wonderful for me because I have not judgment that I've met on like a TV show and they love the camera, and you have to you have to wonder. I already have trust issues, so you have to wonder are they here for me or are they here because.

00:23:52
Speaker 5: They want to be on TV?

00:23:55
Speaker 1: And so I mean the.

00:23:56
Speaker 6: Past three years, I haven't moved out of my bed, so that would be the problem. But I just I you know, I think that I went out for Valentine's Day with my girlfriend, not like girlfriend girlfriend, but like just one of my friends, and that was big and we were like flirting with the bartender, and like it started to feel like I wanted to get dressed up like I have not. I've been in my pajamas for three years. You know, I'm like, I wanted to get dressed up again. I want to wear my sexy clothes. I want to put on lingerie. I want to I just need it's been two weeks.

00:24:32
Speaker 3: Yeah, you need to be patient with yourself. You need to get patient, Brandy. It's it all comes in time. I just hearing you talk.

00:24:42
Speaker 4: I hope. I mean I could be your mother almost.

00:24:45
Speaker 5: No, you couldn't.

00:24:46
Speaker 3: Well, I'm saying, I just hope that you don't let others define your beauty, your self worth, your value, because that's a no win game.

00:24:57
Speaker 1: What about TV? Would you want to go back on TV?

00:25:02
Speaker 5: I don't know.

00:25:02
Speaker 6: I mean, honestly, I have I'm definitely finishing my book up. Like it's hard for me because I I I'm sure it's hard for everyone, but I grew up modeling and then I fell into television.

00:25:17
Speaker 5: Not on purpose. It found me.

00:25:19
Speaker 6: I didn't find it. So I've kind of always been defined by my looks. So I am extremely hard on myself. It's not anyone else, like my kids are.

00:25:29
Speaker 5: Like you look back to normal, and I'm like, I.

00:25:33
Speaker 6: Go, look at this, and like, you know those things that come up on your phone from.

00:25:36
Speaker 2: The past, Yes, the pictures, yes, yes, oh gone, look how good I looked at the time.

00:25:42
Speaker 5: At the time, I didn't think I look great.

00:25:44
Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying.

00:25:45
Speaker 1: We're old, not alone.

00:25:47
Speaker 3: We're old enough now. I mean truly, we're old enough now. We all do that. We look you know, ten years ago, You're like, damn I was hot. Why didn't I know it at the time exactly.

00:25:58
Speaker 5: I know it's twenty twenty, but.

00:26:00
Speaker 4: You know what you should learn from that?

00:26:02
Speaker 5: I have I'm learning now.

00:26:05
Speaker 2: And La is La, do you ever consider a different kind of life moving out of Los Angeles and doing something different?

00:26:14
Speaker 5: Yeah? Only if my boys move. I have to be near them.

00:26:17
Speaker 6: I'm like, I mean, I'm They're the loves of my life on baby, so I I will go where they go if they just if I'm like, you're going to college?

00:26:28
Speaker 5: Is nearer one another?

00:26:30
Speaker 6: And so luckily my eldest is that Chapman, so it's not far away.

00:26:36
Speaker 5: Yeah.

00:26:36
Speaker 1: Is he the one that was modeling, Yes, he's still.

00:26:39
Speaker 5: Modeling as well. And then my my youngest is taking a little time after high school.

00:26:46
Speaker 4: He just got called a gap year. It's called a gap year.

00:26:49
Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, let's hope it's I mean, let's hope it's one year. But he's in acting classes. Has he just got a job.

00:26:56
Speaker 6: Because I was like, I if you look at my Venmo history, it's my friend.

00:27:00
Speaker 5: If I tard Vado with like, she's like.

00:27:04
Speaker 6: You know your Vembo's public, I'm like, yeah, I do, because I want to embarrass my children. I'm like, here's one hundred dollars and it says what is this for?

00:27:12
Speaker 5: And I'm like nothing, Lindziness and.

00:27:16
Speaker 6: So she's like girl, She's like you need you need to stop with that. I'm like, nope, because it's for nothing. Like they need to get jobs, like I had a job when I was twelve, Like I worked my whole life.

00:27:27
Speaker 4: Would you be okay with your boys being on TV? Would you like that or care?

00:27:33
Speaker 5: So Mason is going to be on TV.

00:27:36
Speaker 6: He did a reality show, but he decided it's not for him. He literally shot the first episode with me, and because they asked to shoot with me, and so it's like the Housewives kids like Larsia Pippin's son is friends with my son, and so they got all of these I call rich kids of Calabasas.

00:28:00
Speaker 5: I'm not rich there. He might be, but I'm not. So he shot an episode and with me and he made me cry.

00:28:09
Speaker 1: First.

00:28:10
Speaker 6: He told me all the things I couldn't talk about. I go, do you think that's gonna work with with people?

00:28:15
Speaker 5: With your friends?

00:28:15
Speaker 6: I go, doesn't don't say anything, because the second you tell them not to say it.

00:28:20
Speaker 5: I'm pretty gonna don't say that yes.

00:28:23
Speaker 6: And so he made me cry. And our friend I was like, what are you talking about? Like like he was, I'm like, I'm not allowed to talk about your stuff, but you could talk about my stuff.

00:28:34
Speaker 5: Yeah.

00:28:34
Speaker 4: That's about right, that's about what kids you like.

00:28:37
Speaker 6: Yeah.

00:28:37
Speaker 5: Yeah, but he decided he did.

00:28:40
Speaker 6: He did like, it's not air Jet, it's gonna be on Netflix, and I don't know the actual title, but he was like, I'm I'm it's not for me. It makes it makes him anxious, and he's already a little.

00:28:52
Speaker 5: Bit anxious like his mama. So he was.

00:28:56
Speaker 6: He was shaking his knee the whole time. I'm like, dude, you're with me.

00:29:00
Speaker 5: I'm not gonna right, come on. I said a few things that embarrass him, but that's what I like to do.

Speaker 1: Well? No, hell no, hell no, I did it.

00:29:23
Speaker 5: I got them out of the house.

00:29:29
Speaker 1: We're good.

00:29:30
Speaker 5: I'm not doing that again. No, way.

Speaker 6: Oh he threw his hair out and he grew a beard and a mustache.

00:30:15
Speaker 5: And I haven't. I mean, last time I saw him, he was like bald.

00:30:18
Speaker 4: I'm like, wait, are you close with your family?

00:30:22

But anyone who's listening, what would you want them to take away? And I'm I'm interested in myself from your own lived experiences, what would you want them to know?

00:32:44
Speaker 5: I mean, like, I feel it's soon.

00:32:46
Speaker 6: I mean, I'm as soon as I'm like feeling like confident with myself.

00:32:52
Speaker 5: I just like this ring my ear needs to stop.

00:32:55

I had no energy at all. I would like go up and the stairs and be like, oh, that's my workout.

00:33:36
Speaker 2: Can you say it's in behind you now? Stop dwelling on everything that happened to you and start moving forward. Think about what's the first exercise routine or what you're going to take and start repairing your mind.

00:33:50
Speaker 6: I'm not ready to say it's behind me now because I'm still in the thick of it.
