And yes, President and Trump has confirmed what was widely reported yesterday that he switched planes secretly when he flew out of Turkey last month, and he spoke to reporters on the tarmat mac before boarding Air Force One as he was heading to Cleveland. Can you tell us about your ride on the airport catering truck in Turkey.

Now, the Trump administration has asked the Justice Department to reconsider and to possibly bring back charges against former US Olympian David Hearn.

Speaker 1: That's right, Hern just had charges against him dropped after the US Attorney's Office concluded that it was a botched installation that caused the damage to the reflecting pool, not a result of vandalism by Hearn or by anyone else. That still did not sit well with the President at all.

We now know at least two hundred and fifty people are confirmed dead in the earthquake there. Darling Graham was the top vote getter and the special primary election to replace her brother, who, of course, died suddenly in July.

It was a crowded primary ten candidates, so the runoff will be held on August twenty fifth, but she landed in the exact spot. I think a lot of folks expected her too, and.

None being talked about more than what happened in Wisconsin for the Democratic primary for governor, a candidate who actually dropped out of the race a month ago pulled off and upset. His name is David Crowley. He was projected now he has been projected the winner. This happened rolls around. It was just three four am. I had the TV on sitting here watching and they finally declared him the winner. But this was a tight race against Democratic socialist Francesca Hong.

Speaker 1: Crowley is a Milwaukee County executive who had initially struggled in the race, so that kind of told him I'm going to drop out. He dropped out about a month ago, but then just days later he decided to get back into the race with the endorsement of the current governor. Isn't that interesting? And Hong was a very high profile darling of progressives and democratic socialists. She was also ahead and a lot of the late polling, and ultimately Crowley and Hong were just separated by less than half a percentage point in the latest vote count. And it's a massive upset.

It made that the Graft and Correctional Institution were returning from dinner, so they had to do some kind of a walk through the outdoors. There were some severe storms in areas of the country last night, but they were being trained, answerred or moved outside from dinner and lightning strike.

Speaker 1: My goodness. This prison is about thirty miles south of Cleveland, just to give you an idea of where it is in the country. Thankfully, no deaths were reported, but one prisoner actually had to be airlifted to a hospital. Just wrong place, wrong time.

Next up on the run, Police in Kansas say a man called nine one one on Tuesday morning to report that he had killed his own family. So police respond to the home and yeah, they found six people dead, including a mother and her four children.

Speaker 4: The suspect in the killings was identified as fifty three year old Ronald Williams Senior, the father of the four kids. Those kids were ages nine, seven, five, and three. Police aid the suspect ultimately took his own life. They did not identify a motive. Robes we have. What in the hell is going on?

Next up on the Run, another full day of testimonying the Lindsay Clancy trial Tuesday, and it began the day began with the hearing without the jury present. And here was the issue. The defense wants to call a social worker who posted on TikTok about the conditions and staffing at the hospital where Lindsay Clancy was admitted to for five days and the weeks leading up to the murders of her three children.

Speaker 4: So the prosecution has objected to this, but the judge is still considering allowing this TikToker who worked at McLain Hospital during the time clans he was there to testify solely about staffing at the hospital during the holidays. One nurse practitioner testifying Clancy told her, I feel like I'm going to die and I don't care, but insisted because she didn't have a plan to kill herself, she didn't consider it suicidal ideation. The prosecution resumes their case this morning.
